Legendary actor Pete Edochie is the only Nollywood actor on our list with the longest-running marriage thus far. Together with his wife, Barista Josephine Edochie, the duo celebrated their 53rd year of marital bliss on October 1st, 2022.

Taking to social media to celebrate and commemorate the special day which was hosted by Pete’s children, he wrote:


“53 years of Marital Bliss with my Queen, Chief Barrister Mrs Josephine Edochie. Thanks to my Children for hosting us to the biggest party of our lifetime, yes Our LIFE because we are ONE. In celebration of our 53yrs of marriage and Life in Goodness and in Good Health. These past 53yrs, God blessed us with six biological children (among all the inherited ones and numerous grand-children) 5 gentlemen and a beautiful adorable lady, Leo; Adam; Linc; Jean; Yul; Eva, respectively. Kema Chikwe

Nigeria former Minister of Aviation, Kema Chikwe and her husband, Eze Herbert Chikwe, have been happily married for 52 years. On December 7th this year, they will celebrate 53 years of marital bliss.

The duo have raised a happy home full of amazing children and grandchildren. The most popular of them is Nigerian rapper, Naeto C.

Mr. and Mrs. Obi-Uchendu

The parents of Nigerian actor, lawyer, and media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, have also been married for more than 50 years. The celebrity parents celebrated 53 years of marital bliss this year.
