Though Reno takes the whole thing to a new level, it still has little to with his tribe but more to do with pocket or stomach infrastructure. Pay attention to Reno very well you would understand. The funny thing is, Reno is not going to vote in the election but he is trying to make himself a loud voice.

If Reno is not a sycophant, why was he singing Peter Obi's praises weeks prior to his decamp to Labour Party? It's all about the source of his meal.

Because Reno is a PDP man and Obi is a Labour Party man.

As such, any PDP member, including Obi's tribespeople, is duty bound to attack Obi, and indeed any candidate that is not PDP. (Reno has also attacked Buhari, Tinubu, and other non -PDP actors, and he has attacked APC a lot in the last 7 years).

If Reno starts praising Obi and saying he is obidient, he would be sacked by his party PDP and told to get out. Remember there is something in every party's rulebook called anti-party activites, and party members can be expelled for that.

Asking why Reno is attacking Obi is almost the same thing as asking why a pawpaw tree produces pawpaw. Party things.

If Obi was the PDP candidate, Reno would back him to the end. Obi is LP candidate, therefore he is the enemy. Like Tinubu.

You Obidients should stop missing the wood for the trees. No one hates you, it's just politics.

Simple logic.. He does not hate Obi, he's playing real politics cause that's what feed him.. without bias or sentiment Obi has more advantage over the other aspirants. Even if obi get zero vote in the core northern state( NE&W) he still have more chance compare to other... the only way for Atiku to be declared winner is Peter Obi to lose more in southwest and that'sthe new game Reno is playing...

Simple.
Peter Obi stands a problem for PDP.

Obi CANNOT/WILL NOT not win, but he will affect PDP traditional bloc votes in the south east and south south.

The way it strategically is, Peter Obi stands an advantage for Tinubu.

PDP normally would defeat APC well in the south east and south south, but the votes would be spilt/deflected to Obi this time around.

This is what Reno is trying to fight.

He knows SW is for Tinubu, he believes Atiku can defeat Tinubu in the North, while Obi is the major issue for PDP's vote in SE and SS.

His time as governor in anambra was filled with strikes.
Doctors strike for over a year, students strike and also school fees hike.

It’s not jealousy, if that’s how you see it it means your are not thinking right. It is simply a recognition that 1) Obi is the least capable of the 3. 2) obi cannot win and he has damaged PDP massively while leaving APC votes largely intact because as I have said many times the kind of people who are voting for Obi would never have voted for APC, they would either have stayed at home or voted PDP. So all Obi is will achieve is to ensure Tinubu becomes president.

No mattter how lofty you think your goals are, An opposition that from the get go was behind cannot divide itself and expect to defeat an opponent who is largely intact!!!

Elections are about numbers, this is basic maths, you can’t divide 10 into 6 and 4 and expect to defeat a man with 11. Even if the man with 11 loses 2 he will still defeat you!!!

The problem with Obidients is that your are driven by emotion. Emotional people do not think clearly or make rational choices. Apc won the election the day Obi left PDP and Tinubu by default became our next president the day he won the primaries. There is nothing PDP or Labour can do now. If Reno is angry I can understand because APC could not have defeated an AtikuObi combo in 2023!!
