Why do we shout in anger?
Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?
Is it because we lose our calm when we are angry?
But then, why shout when the other person is next to us? Isn't it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice?
When two people are angry at each other, there is a psychological distance in their hearts. To cover the distance, they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will shout to hear each other through that distance.

But what happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other but talk softly..... Why? This is because their hearts are psychologically close. The distance between them is very close. So when they love each other even more, their hearts get even more closer and they don't have to speak loud but whisper. And finally, their hearts become one. Then they need not whisper. They only look at each other, and that's all........

So the next time you shout on a loved one, know that you are creating a distance between your heart and that person's heart.

Proverbs 15:1 says: A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
The Prophet of Islam says: The strongest amongst you is not him who is more powerful than the others, but him who is able to control his anger in the face of provocation.

If we learn to show love to each other.... at home; in the neighbourhood; at work; even to people on the street! Then the world will be a better place to live in.....

So start showing some love today. Tell someone beside you, "I LOVE YOU."
