The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Office of the Vice President, Laolu Akande says leadership at the highest level is about commitment to the common good.

In a post on his Instagram page on Wednesday, Akande noted that people in high offices can be loyal to each other and among themselves for the bastardization of the common good.

The post which was accompanied by the picture of Akande and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was also posted on his official Twitter and Facebook pages.

“When a leader is entrusted with the destiny of a nation, what matters most in his/her circle of associates is alignment of values and shared public spirit. Otherwise, people in high offices can be very loyal to each other and among themselves for the bastardization of the common good,” he wrote.

Reacting to his post, Miss Temmy Arewa wrote, “Osinbajo is as an outstanding public servant, lawyer, pastor, and the epitome of humility and loyalty in service to the fatherland. God bless him now and forever.”

Samson Adenekan Adeniyi described the Vice President as a man who has won the hearts of people by his acts. “Osinbajo is the type of leader that people would follow voluntarily.”

For Zeebaby the Vice President is a responsive leader whose actions are toward the common good. “Osinbajo provides responsive, reliable, and responsible leadership we crave. May God perfect everything concerning him.”

Caleb Mgbah noted that great leaders are committed to the overall good of the people. “It is a good omen when the inner circle of a great leader reciprocates the drive at all cost for the well-being of the people.”

Nigerian journalist, Seyi Gesinde chipped in by describing Osinbajo as a true leader. “This is true leadership. “This is true.
