Adjectives which are gradable are used to compare people, things, groups of people, or a set of another with another. When adjectives are gradable, it means they are compared according to their degrees and values. There are three degrees of comparison of adjective. a. Positive: This is used for a person, thing, a group of people or a set of things. It is the simple and based form of the adjectives. Example: good, hard, difficult. b. Comparative: It is used to compare two people, things, ideas, two groups of people, two sets of ideas. etc.Example: better, harder, more difficult. c. Superlative: It is used to compare three or more people, things, dears, groups of people, sets of things etc. Examples: best, hardest, most difficult. 1.
