A Nigerian nurse identified as Ubangha Blessing Ubi has reacted to the viral video of Rico Swavey's unconscious body left unattended to by healthcare givers in a hospital now identified as Doren Specialist Hospital in Ajah.

You will recall there was outcry following the video of Rico Swavey battling for his life as nurses laugh and recorded him. The BBNaija star died on October 13, 2022, from injuries suffered in a ghastly car crash.

Reacting to the video, a nurse identified as Ubangha Blessing Ubi on Facebook has said the viral reports are misleading and it was the security officials that were recording not the nurses as stipulated.

According to her, the nurses on duty were just made the scapegoats by the public meanwhile, they were the ones stopping the persons who rushed Rico Swavey to the hospital from recording.

Blessing, although not in the video, vouched for the competence of the nurses under fire.

¶As usual, the good we do as Nurses hardly trends, only the supposed lies trends faster.
¶And if I had not worked here, or personally known the persons involved, I'd have been made to believe the lies.
¶It's very obvious in this video that the Nurse was asking the supposed good Samaritan to stop making videos and assist in moving the said patient to the bed for proper care.
¶Please, bring down these videos or say the exact thing and stop misleading the public. Allow us mourn the dead in peace.

But we could see the lackadaisical attitude of those nurses in the video also. They were so unprofessional! She shouldn’t rewrite the story, some of us saw it clearly.

Sometime we make mistakes life give another and another and another sef. Perhaps not the 3rd or 4th time again.
Life is a lesson for everyone including the dead man and the nurses that are still very much alive. They would see life from a different angle after this experience. Nobody will tell them not to be in this kinda situation twice.
