The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved N203bn MTN takeover of the 110-kilometer Enugu-Onitsha dual carriageway reconstruction.

MTN will be completing about 91km of outstanding works as part of the Road Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme of federal government of Nigeria, introduced by the Buhari/Osinbajo administration.

It may interest you to know that ,in 2011, I passed through that road en route Portharcourt , on my way to attend the National Delegates Conference of our workers union .
The condition of the road, right from descending the 1st Niger bridge, was terrible. We had to divert to some untarred , to continue our journey.
