ABOUT GMAT/ Most business schools, not just in the USA, but all over the world, require a student to have done the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) to be considered for admission to a postgraduate business administration course. Admission to the best courses is typically limited to those who have the highest test scores. Even those institutes that do not require a GMAT score welcome them as an additional way of assessing students' eligibility and this often gives these students an edge over others.

The test is divided into 4 sections, each designed to evaluate a student's suitability for management studies.

A 75 minute Quantitative Section that comprises of 37 multiple choice questions.
A 30 minute Integrated Reasoning Section that comprises of 12 multiple choice questions. Most of these are multi-part and require a logical sequential response.
A 30 minute Analytical Writing Assessment Section that comprises of one essay based on a given topic with directions on how the essay is to be structured.
A 75 minute Verbal Section that comprises of 41 multiple choice questions.
Although the structure of the test may appear to be simple and direct, the type of questions, the expected nature of the responses and the time limitations can make it extremely hard. It is not an examination that students can normally study for and do well in on their own. The test has been created by the Graduate Management Admission Council to meet its unique requirements to determine eligibility for admission to management courses. In addition, the test is completely computer based and this can be a challenge even for students who are used to working with computers.

There are 2 factors that are key to GMAT success:

A thorough knowledge of the type of questions that are asked and the ability to respond to them in the limited time available.
An understanding of what the test seeks to evaluate. This will enable students to use the knowledge they have in a focused manner to obtain a high score.
While GMAT coaching online classes are very popular, many of them do not have the skilled and experienced teachers needed to master this very specialized examination.

The teachers at Limpopo Center are not just knowledgeable in what the test expects of those who take it, they are familiar with the examination structure and specific skills required for online examinations. Our GMAT coaching online is designed to allow us to work with our students to teach and provide them with the knowledge and skills they need to answer questions in a manner that will get them high marks and also give them the familiarity with the test format and structure that will instill in them the confidence to do well and obtain admission to the best management courses.

ABOUT GRE/ The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is the widely accepted standard test required to gain admission to post-graduate and doctoral studies in the U.S.A. and many other English speaking countries. The examination is in 2 parts - the GRE General Test and the GRE Subject Test.

The General Test is to be taken by all. The test is designed to measure a student's critical thinking and is divided into 3 main sections - Analytical Writing, Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning skills. The Subject Test is designed to evaluate a student's knowledge and understanding of 7 specific subjects. Whether or not a candidate has to take the subject test will depend on the course for which admission is sought and the school/college being applied to.

The examination is computer based in most parts of the world, including India. The test comprises of 6 sections and the total time available to complete it is 3 hours 40 minutes. There is a 10-minute break after the 3rd section. Often research questions meant to evaluate their use in future tests are included. These are for internal use and the answers given are not scored. However, the student will not know which are scoring questions and which are not.

Analytical Writing: This is in 2 parts. In part 1 a paragraph on a general subject is provided and students must present their views on it using logical reasoning and if possible, examples to support their position. In part 2 another paragraph presenting a point of view on a general subject is presented and the students will have to critique the argument and explain why they support or are against the view presented.

Verbal Reasoning: This section comprises of questions designed to test students' ability to form conclusions based on written material, to recognize and understand relationships between words and concepts and to understand the relationship between different parts of a sentence. Reading comprehension questions, sentence completion, antonyms and analogies are among the topics covered.

Quantitative Reasoning: This section is designed to test students' ability to use quantitative reasoning. This is done using American high school level mathematics problems in arithmetic, geometry, algebra and data analysis.

The GRE is in some ways similar to other similar examinations. That does not mean that the preparations for them are the same. Many GRE online coaching centers use shortcuts in how they prepare students for the examination and this is a common reason for not doing well. At Limpopo Center we know that the GRE is a very specialized test and our GRE online coaching provides students with the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to perform at the highest levels in the examination.

What are the Advantages of Taking the GRE Exam?

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a widely accepted standardized test that comprehensively prepares students for graduate schools and renowned programs across the globe. It is an intrinsic part of the admissions process that measures their skills, attributes, and knowledge. It is also used by graduate management programs to determine the likelihood of career success or the amount of intervention they will need to improve their competence. As the GRE provides applicants with access to the best schools, it also offers them a generous amount of time and chances to improve themselves to achieve desirable scores that will be valid for 5 years. What is the value of using GRE scores?
The value of using GRE scores is summarized in two points:

Skill measurement. The value of academic skill measurement is critical in determining the readiness of the participants for graduate school. The GRE tests three skills that are crucial in studying at a graduate school: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing. A remarkable score scale in these measurements increases the chances of applicants succeeding in their academic endeavours. On the contrary, low official score reports on the test provide an opportunity for test-takers to devote additional time and study hours to getting adequate knowledge needed for their chosen graduate program.

Promotion of Inclusivity. GRE scores resolve the issue of diversity among applicants from different backgrounds. These standardized and objective results provide a common ground for their selection, allowing administrators to directly and indiscriminately compare their skills, experience, attributes, and performance. Its well-researched features contribute to the successful conduct of a fair evaluation of applicants, which is not merely achieved through other evidence. Nonetheless, the consideration of both standardized and non-standardized measures is crucial to the implementation of the fairest admission program.
The value of using GRE scores in the admission process is significant in achieving inclusivity and in measuring the readiness of the applicants for graduate school.

What is the importance of taking the GRE exam?
Taking the GRE exam is important for the reasons below:

Requirement of GRE scores in programs. For most graduate schools, including business and law, GRE scores are critical in the admission process. An applicant must secure this record to avoid disqualification because of an incomplete application.

Acquisition of merit-based funding. A commendable GRE score may grant an applicant a scholarship or merit-based fellowship. Therefore, one should consider taking the GRE to increase their eligibility for this funding.

Application to graduate school. GRE scores are valid for five years. Taking the GRE within the time frame will equip the applicant with adequate theoretical and practical knowledge for their chosen graduate program as they can use it to review their lessons by retaking the test as many times as they need.

Addressing room for improvements. A high GRE score compensates for other weak evidence, such as a low undergrad GPA. This standardized test can be taken multiple times; hence, applicants can use it as a review process and improve themselves until they achieve desirable scores, which they can reflect on in their application.
Taking the GRE test will determine the level of preparedness of the applicants for graduate school and the likelihood of their success in such endeavours. Hence, applicants must consider this course of action.

How does taking the GRE give you a competitive edge?

The GRE is designed to equip the examinees with various skills to increase their chances of success in graduate school and improve their career outcomes. Taking the GRE gives you a competitive edge by acquiring the following skills:

Verbal Reasoning. A verbal section score determines the ability of the examinee to fluently comprehend and articulate linguistic tasks such as reading and writing. Communication is an important skill to have in the workplace or school program. This score on the GRE also reflects proficiency in English grammar.
Quantitative Reasoning. The quantitative section's official score range demonstrates the examinee's ability to solve problems with critical thinking and well-informed reasoning. A remarkable numeracy rate showcases the methodical and analytical attributes of an examinee, which are useful in resolving any problems.
Analytical Writing. Test takers' analytical writing - scores display the ability of the examinee to become an effective communicator while showcasing decent analytical and critical thinking skills in understanding concepts and problems. This skill is useful in situations that require persuasion and negotiation.
The following benefits mentioned are also relevant for future work opportunities. Some applicants show GRE score reports to demonstrate that they have the necessary skills for the job.

Why do grad schools require GRE scores?
These are the following reasons why grad schools require GRE scores in their application requirements:

Convenient comparison of diverse applicants. A GRE score is a quantified measurement of the qualification of the applicant for their chosen graduate school or program. Applicants are categorized based on their performance on the standardized test, which provides a well-researched and objective verdict of their abilities.
Proper assignment of an area of knowledge based on displayed expertise. The three measurements of the GRE test are individually evaluated to cater to different areas of knowledge. Verbal reasoning is most valued in qualitative fields, while quantitative reasoning is critical in math-related fields. Although analytical writing is considered the least important of them, it is crucial in determining the ability of the applicant to critically think and fluently explain complicated ideas in a well-informed manner.
GRE scores are usually highly valued by graduate schools, but some programs do not require them at all. Nonetheless, GRE has aided the administrators in creating a concentrated community for particular field expertise to ensure a high retention rate and increase the likelihood of success among the applicants.

GRE and GMAT which one should I take? this question usually come to the mind of exam takers that which one they should apply for bewteen GRE and GMAT. Also to decide which one you should write cantact us on 09057485470.

Your road to graduate school or business school doesn’t begin with taking the GMAT or GRE, but a standardized test will likely play a role in your application process. That said, many future grad students will begin by worrying about “the test” and which one they should take before they’ve even decided which schools or programs they’ll apply to. When deciding whether to take the GMAT or GRE, it’s important to first determine your goals and work back from there. Below, we’ll discuss key questions you should ask yourself between settling on an exam, as well as the important differences—and similarities—between the GMAT and GRE.

GMAT VS GRE: WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS?
So you know you’d like to pursue some kind of advanced degree, but what if you aren’t sure what your interests are yet? Consider your long-term career goals and what you’d like to accomplish, and then research which degree—MBA or a Master’s/PhD—would help you advance toward those goals. Typically, if you’re seeking out leadership positions in management, logistics, or consulting, you may find that an MBA will be more helpful. Your MBA will give you a solid foundation in management, marketing, finance, and economics, and will equip you to tackle business challenges. If you’d like to acquire a specialized body of knowledge, a Master’s degree or a PhD may be a better option for you. During your time in graduate school, you’ll be able to focus on a subject that interests you and develop a deeper understanding of a topic you’re passionate about.

TEST PREPARATION TIPS.
If you don’t know what you’d like to pursue today, but are fairly confident you’ll take that next step in the next five years, consider taking your standardized test while you’re still in school or shortly after. Your GMAT and GRE scores are both good for five years and the best time to take either test is while your basic math is still fresh and you are already in the habit of studying every day.

GMAT VS GRE: THINGS TO CONSIDER
Consider the following while deciding which test to take:

If you’re unsure which path you’ll pursue, take the GRE. It will keep all your doors open, as many business schools accept both the GRE and GMAT.
While many business schools will accept both the GRE and GMAT, the admissions committee may prefer that applicants take the GMAT. Do your research and ask around.
If you don’t have a strong track record of working with numbers and quantitative analysis, consider taking the GMAT. Although both the GRE and GMAT rely on the same basic high school-level math, the GMAT’s Quantitative section is more focused on word problems, rather than straightforward math, and the GMAT’s Integrated Reasoning section will test your data interpretation skills. Also, GMAT questions typically have easier numbers to work with than those on the GRE. The GMAT is also more forgiving in the way it is scored—to get a high score on the GRE, you need to get practically every question right, whereas you can get many high difficulty GMAT questions wrong, and still get a comparably high score.
Take the test you’re most comfortable with and on which you’ll perform the best. To gain admission to competitive MBA and graduate programs, you’ll want to apply with the highest percentile score you can. The easiest way to see which test you like best is to take a practice or a diagnostic exam. You’ll get a good feel for each exam’s structure, content, and timing.
