Wike has PDP where he wants them ...they have nothing on him , have nothing he needs them for

Yeah right..................is that why he made an EFCC customer the PDP candidate for Rivers

kcmichael:
*N117Billion Fraud: Rivers PDP Governorship Candidate, Sim Fubara shun Ikwere Chiefs and Elders as EFCC Ambushes Him*.

As the 2023 general elections draw closer, consultations and discussions on political parties and her candidates are becoming the concerns to her electorates by the day, including our Chiefs and Elders, Religious Leaders and Ethnic groups. In Rivers State, every patriotic Rivers sons and daughters would wish that the next Governors be properly screened before giving her support . They also wish the elections should be peaceful, free from any violence and altogether fair. These are the the prayers on every lip gravitating towards peace and order in this political season. If politicians were to play by the rules and show some respect for the sanctity of human life, these anxieties about peaceful elections would have been unnecessary. Can our Candidates and incoming Governors be free from crimes, especially financial crimes? Can our politicians exercise firm control over their supporters? These are pertinent questions in the mind of every electorates.

It is obvious that some states like Rivers State may likely attract more than the normal attention of local and international observers. In the case of Rivers state, the signs are already very glaring, because of the antecedents of Mr. Siminialayi Fubara , the governorship flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rivers state has all eyes on him as the Campaign and elections approach. The entire Rivers People are standing amazed, asking and watching" Will only Wike and Sim defeat a whole Federal agency's (the EFCC) and can't the EFCC bring a wanted looter of our collective resources to book?
The thinking community in the state may be justified in their apprehension because of the style of the man who preferred and imposed a fugitive on the state. Sim Fubara is on EFCC watchlists and he is on the run. He is said to be hiding in the Rivers State Government House for the fears of EFCC.

Well, there are indications that the EFCC has not relent on their search and arrest of Mr. Sim Fubara. Few days ago, Mr. Sim Fubara was ambushes by the EFCC on his way to interacts with the Chiefs and Elders Ikwerre Land. The visits was initiated by the Rivers PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, siminialayi Fubara and was a well publicized event for weeks, but he failed to attend his own event.
It gathered that during the weekend, Sunday 18/9/2022, Sim Fubara again, in course of avoiding arrest by the EFCC, absent himself from his consultations meeting organized with the Ikwere LGA'S PDP Chiefs and Elders. A situation that had angered and raised some concerns among the Chiefs and Elders from the ethnic group as they see it to be a deliberate attempt, unknowing to them that Mr. Sim had already gotten the noticed that he has already been ambushed by the EFCC.

A reliable source closed to one of the chief confirmed how disrespectful and angered they felt when they saw Prof. Ngozi Odu, his Deputy, come down alone. He also narrated how regrettable they felt of all his assurance to be present.
He also confirmed that they used almost two weeks to carried out major publicity's of the events both on print, electronic and traditional medium of communication, Invitation, billboards and banners as well as organizing cultural play as they were compelled to do so by the power that be.

I am sure some of them may not had been of the know or are pretending or doing eyes service to Governor's Wike. Mr. Sim Fubara coming was to interact with the said Chiefs and Elders. Little do they know that the EFCC will get the knowledge of it and ambush the entire areas for the arrest of the wanted PDP Governorship Candidate. And when he finally heard of it, he said "it seem this is a set up by some of these chiefs and Elders that they can not be trusted ". He reluctantly send his Deputy, Prof. Ngozi Odu to represent him .
A situation that is said to be a total disrespectful to the chiefs and Elders, and the entire Ikwere land .

Recalled that on Tuesday June 7, 2022, some supporters of the Rivers State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Sim Fubara beat up officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on that Tuesday night when EFCC operatives attempted to arrest Mr. Fubara as the chartered plane carrying him and other PDP members landed at the Omagwa Airport in Rivers State from Abuja.
The operatives were beaten as they made to arrest the PDP flag bearer who had gone to Abuja to receive his certificate of return. It was unclear if the anti-graft agency officials suffered serious injuries. The EFCC had declared the PDP candidate wanted over a N117 billion alleged fraud. So the continue ambush on Mr. Sim Fubara by EFCC is a clear indication that he is a wanted Fugitive and can be arrested anytime .
If as just an Accountant General, he embezzled N117Billion, what will happen if he eventually becomes the Governor? And if Mr. Sim Fubara believes he is innocent, let him go and defend himself so he can be moving Freely to avoid disrespecting our respected Chiefs and Elders.

And it's very funny seeing his spin-doctors scrambling helter skelter to rewrite and restructure what he said, as if we did not watch the video ourselves.

That's the most shocking ethnically divisive statement I've heard from a Nigerian presidential candidate.

Who doesn't know Atiku is an ethnic bigot?

He's going to get his votes from a few states in the north, obi and tinubu will share the north with him. Then, he can go to Dubai, his second home amd retire for life after losing.

Thank God Nigerians are getting to know them before election. We don't need a regional or sectional president like Buhari anymore. There are knowledgeable Nigerians whom a president ought to have worked with, in order to move the counrey forward. Obj had the best team ever, sourced from the various tribes and ethnic nationalities. Abuse him, blast him, we had a robust economy built from zero to the top during obj era, courtesy his sound econimic team. How can you employ your maid as finance minister in a country like Nigeria, the largest economy in Africa when we have highly qualified individuals spread across Nigeria, just because of ethnic bigotry? No wonder Nigeria's economy is in shambles today.

Obasanjo sought the best across ethnic lines, even from among the opposition. I remember late Bola ige, the formae Attorney-general of Nigeria who came.from the then Alliance for Democracy, Madam Dora who dealt ruthlessly
with her people for importing fake drugs. The woman escaped assassination twice. I also remember madam Iweala, etc.
Atiku wouid be worst as president. How can you say you'd sell NNPC to your friends? Does that make any sense ? The recent outbursts of the candidates are seen as God at work. They're speaking their minds and only the sane can undestand this.

Is it Emilokan Thiefnuibu that is not an ethnic bigot

I also remember Bola Ige, Obasanjo's AGF that was killed in 2001 but nobody was arrested, prosecuted and sentenced. Instead the highest accused was made senator from prison by Obasanjo in his 2003 capture of south west for PDP.
I remember that also about Bola Ige.

chino11:
You were the governor of Oyo State at the time Chief Ajibola Ige was murdered. What was your experience then?
It was a bitter experience. That very day was a Sunday. It was the day we had our Christmas carol at the Government House. It was a norman Sunday; everything was going on fine. The carol came and went from 4:15 to 6:00pm that day. And then everybody dispersed. As if I got a signal of what was coming, my speech that day was centred on security in Oyo State. I called on the Commissioner of Police and the Inspector General of Police to strengthen security in Oyo State because an old school mate, Engineer Adegeebo, had been assassinated near his house in Bodija a week earlier.

Every cleric went home and I retired to Government House. I played for some time. Then I went to my room to treat some files. I was doing that when suddenly the phone rang. It was land line we were using then. The operator said that somebody wanted to speak with me. Then I picked the call and it was a brother to my deputy. He said he was asked to tell me that Chief Bola Ige had been shot by some unknown assassins. I was confused immediately. I didn’t know what to do. But later I regained my strength and quickly went down without telling my wife what was happening. It was 9:55 pm. I sent for my PS because all the ADC and other security staff had gone to their places of abode. I told him to drive me in one of the private cars. Inside the car, I told him that Uncle Bola Ige had been shot by some gunmen, that I was going to check him at Catholic Hospital, Oluyoro. The man who informed said Ige was taken to Oluyoro.

The place I have been treading for over 60 years, I remember that I lost my way. I was just going round and round until I gained my consciousness again. Immediately the gateman saw me, he quickly opened the gate. There, we saw Uncle Dele Ige, who was already rolling on the ground. I went straight to the room where Bola Ige was lying. I saw marks of bullets on his body. He slept with his face up. He was somehow breathing but the breathing was abnormal. I saw where the bullet penetrated on the left side. I saw it myself. Uncle Bola Ige was wearing shirt and trousers. And I saw Muyiwa standing by the side of the bed. He was wailing. He appealed to me, saying: ”Uncle, please tell the doctor to wake up my Daddy. Tell him. The doctor can do it.” Then, I approached the doctor and asked him the situation. The doctor called me to one side and told me that he was dead. He said: “Sir, Your Excellency, Uncle is gone. There is nothing we can do. They shot him straight in the heart. He asked me not to tell Muyiwa.

I almost betrayed my emotion when I got back into the room where Uncle was lying with Muyiwa beside his bed. I just quickly gathered myself and told Muyiwa that I was going to see the head of the hospital. That was how I bolted away. I came back to the Government House to inform Mr. President, who was Obasanjo at that time.

By the time I was going upstairs to my room, to try and tell Operator to phone Mr. President for me, the phone was already ringing. When I got into my room, it was still ringing. I quickly picked it up and it was Obasanjo.
He the Operator said the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria wants to talk to you. Then I asked him to put him on.
The question Obasanjo just asked was: “Is he certified dead?” I said: “Yes sir.” Then he dropped the phone. That was all. That was my experience. I can never forget that experience.

The country is gone as one nation, it should be divided into senatorial geographic zones. Imagine these statements.

TINUBU TO YORUBAS: “ it’s the turn of the Yoruba to produce the next president of Nigeria and when it get to Yoruba, it’s gonna be me .”

ATIKU TO NORTHERNERS: “ You should vote for because I’m from the North, don’t vote for a candidate from Igbo or Yoruba .”

PETER OBI IGBOS : “ Do not vote for me because I’m from Igbo, vote for me on the basis of my competence and integrity. 2023 is not about anybody’s turn, it’s the turn of Nigerians.”

You analyze this and vote accordingly if you truly want a united Nigeria.

Atiku claimed he knows every where in Nigeria and has built bridges.

What bridge exactly Maybe because he married from the three major tribes.

Las Las this election will be a regional one with most people from the south east rooting for Obi, most from southwest rooting for tinubu and most people from the north rooting for Atiku.

The minority tribes will determine the winner.
And the minority tribes will mostly give Obi their 90% votes
While kwankwaso takes more votes from Kano and other NW states shrinking atiku out.
Obi is likely the winner since all Christians in Nigeria and the Nigerian youths are supporting and voting for him

Well, let it continue like this so that the election will be sweeter

I see zero knowledge in what you have written. You should know that in 2007 PDP went into the election with Musa Yar Adua as the presidential candidate and Ahmadu Ali as the chairman both were Northerners. The current Labour party National Chairman is South (Julius Abure), the Labour party presidential candidate is also South (Peter Obi).

No need.

It is left for Nigerians to vote who they want.

If Nigerians after suffering the worst leadership under Buhari a known tribal-religious bigot who paraded himself as the king of the North yet presided over the total massacre of Northerners for the past 7 years decides to elect another old criminal bigots like Atiku or Tinubu, then they should not bother God or whatever they worship with their usual hypocritical prayers seeking for God's help, even after God have revealed to them the truth about these criminal old men.

I think the level of illiteracy among core north is to be blame. Base on what the country is passing through now everyone should be able to know we don't need another old and corrupt person as president. But tribalism and bigotry will be their greatest problem and the problem continues.

I see Regional leaders emerging from this election. Back to your tent o Isreal.

I see stalemate in the election.

If Atiku think he can win with the votes of North let's see how he would get 25% from other states. He should continue.

I use to see him as a unifier but I know better now.

I don't know if any of these contestants would be able to unite Nigeria and Nigerians.

I doubt the unity of this country with the nonsense message from the mouth of Atikulooooter.

Atiku vs Southerners 2:0
1. Deleted his comment on the gruesome murder of a southern innocent girl
2. Said Northerners need a northern President, even if the person is an slowpoke, so far he is northerner, all well and good.

This is why the country keeps sinking. I regret my support to Buhari. But I seriously detest Atiku, I feel Atiku and Obasanjo should be in jail by now, with the way they accused each other of financial crimes with evidence before leaving office, but Nigerians will continue to be docile and continue to suffer so much.
