exactly, we just hope he moves Nigeria from rotten to bad.

Reuben abati is not serious.
If Nigeria doesn't do anything about climate change, the West can easily sanction them.
What Tinubu doesn't know is, what affects them affects us.
He thinks climate change is for the Western world only.
I respect Reuben Abati, but am disappointed in his stand on this.

I watched the program this morning as usual. Dr. ABATI was on point by supporting the stance of Asiwaju. Also, Rufai Oseni did support him on his logic.

It is worthy of note that both of the mentioned journalists dislikes Ashiwaju particularly Oseni Rufai.

Once again, let's jettison politics of hate and support plausible opinions and ideas.

I am surprised or should I rather say I am shocked at the level of intelligence and objectivity of people. If Abati will support a candidate, it's 90% likely it's Atiku. If Rufai Oseni will support a candidate, it's 90% likely it's OBI. Consequently, for both to support this view of Tinubu, perhaps he is right on this.

Let your analysis be balanced and not one always laced with bitterness, bias and revenge.

You might not like Obi, Atiku or Tinubu, but if they make a right statement or gestures, even if the person isn't your candidate, try and reason with such logic after all, it doesn't stop you from voting your candidates.

There was a time when wen we had more of your kind on this platform but it is unfortunate that the reverse is the case now. Kudos!

The thing is I laugh at some people's stupidity, especially those ones singing Tinubus praises. Covid is still fresh in our minds and we saw how most African countries like Nigeria went begging for aides like children begging for ice cream. When the effect of climate change start to hit us hard someone like Tinubu may not be around to take back his comments.

Asiwaju Tinubu is way above them all!

The other time, it was one Kperoggi, PhD with his sub standard education from BUK,Kano, who goofed in his lack of understanding of the idiomatic / metaphoric expressions in Englosh used by Asiwaju and now another one with substandard education could not understand Asiwaju Tinubu.smh.

Many of them with sub standard education and poor English language comprehension litter nairaland. Instead of facing their studies now and improve themselves, they are wasting their life and time by idlying away and hating on the social media.

Those of us who had the privilege of being led by Asiwaju Tinubu warned them ahead about how brilliant Asiwaju is and their low IQ will struggle to understand Asiwaju's deep reflective and pragmatic wise sayings.

Expect more Kperrogii, Bwala with sub standard education to goof and embarass themselves in the days leading to the election. Awon olodo gbogbo. Our own Lasgidi City boy is not your mate upstairs and indept knowledge of local and global development issues.

I will maintain Tinubu will be the first intelligent president we are going to have in 2023. I made this statement when he won the primaries in June 2022.

I am certain to my guts.

Solving Nigerias problems will involve a great deal of common sense, and there will be no magic bullet like many gullible youths believe.

Why are you guys like this? Just because you don't support someone, does not mean u should criticize that person at any and every opportunity.

The metaphor church rat in the south is as common as the metaphor " if Mohammed don't go to the mountain, the mountain will go to Mohammed" nobody takes offence.

Similarly in the south especially SW, sexing a girl with a big ass can be illustrated with climbing mount Arafat, which is a holy ground in Islam. So what's the fuss here?

maestroferddi:
What silly clarification?!

We are not concerned with what Tinubu was trying to say...The crux of the matter is that it was utterly distasteful and unacceptable for Tinubu to use the holy communion metaphorically in the manner he did.

Just imagine if Peter Obi uses an Islamic practice or concept negatively in a careless attempt to make a point....

Reuben Abati is by no means a go-to person in propriety and definitive wisdom....

Tinubu only elaborate on Yoruba long time adage " As poor as Church rat"

The IBOS are aware of this Yoruba adage. It is now commonly used by both Yorubas and IBOS. I still don't understand why the IBOS pretend they don't understand Tinubu.

Politics of bitterness . I want to point something to Abati and Kperoqi. That statement at Kaduna about El - Rufai, if Tinubu had said it as expected, we would still have to defend Tinubu on Social media. If Tinubu had said from rotten state to good state. These people will still demand an explanation on what is good about Kaduna under El - Rufai.

They don't just want to see Tinubu. They want to silence him but they are not God.

Anyone with brain will know that what Asiwaju said is the right way to speak looking at the dire financial constraint Africa are currently in.

The climate change compliance will mean we maintain some certain threshold of emission, how do we satisfy that when 90% of our revenue comes from the same crude.

But people want Tinubu to give unrealistic answer by saying Nigeria will achieve climate change compliance threshold in his first 100 days like other unserious candidates will say.

God Bless you sir
