I wonder what's with nairalanders this days, for years I have been visiting nairaland as a guest before I finally register. Nairaland of old was very educative,although this days nairaland is educative to some extent, I am tired of coming to nairaland everyday and seeing some post/comment insulting other tribes its very annoying nairaland is a neutral ground (site) we all should learn how to respect other tribes, we are all Nigerians. That tribalism and toxicity is the reason why people are leaving here in droves daily. At least, twitter's algorithm is such that whatever you take interest in is what you keep seeing unlike here where you'll click a "harmless" thread about a Secondary School girl winning a prize and before you get to the 3rd comment, someone indicates that their tribe is the smartest in Nigeria, and then comes to splatter the thread with pictures of dead people in a swamp, and then a tribal war ensues in a thread where we should be celebrating a youngling. It's not something most people would want to start or end their day with.

This is one of the reasons I don't go to the politics section anymore. Any comment I make on any politics thread would be from a thread on the home page.

Seun doesn't care about this site.

The tribal hate is just too much, and it get worse everyday.

This is why despite how many years Nairaland his been in existence, you can hear of it outside social media. The hate won't allow people enjoy their stay here.
