Snickers with Blazers, May be I am wrong but they commit fashion crime pass Naija people,

Bros wawa, easy o no make dem curse us more, sneakers n blazers, thats style, anyone can swing anything as long as you've got the confidence. Andre was once GQ Armanamania man of the year, but you and i know that if he walks on the streets of lagos he will be stoned.

We have got style, you chiqs better recognize, luv 9ja, stick wit 9ja n compare to non.

Re: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by MP007(m): 1:45am On Aug 25, 2007
SO U CALL LOOKING LIKE SHIT A "STANDARD"? U SERIOUS?
Re: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by faketan(m): 1:54am On Aug 25, 2007
I am sorry if you did not understand me. Read my post again.

Somebody said that wearing blazers with snickers is fashion if you are bold. I was refering to that statement when I said that there is a standard about looking good.

If not I can as well wear my towel and bathroom slippers to a function if I am bold and call it fashion.

Anything out of acceptable norm is crazy fashion and not god dress sense.
Re: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by acidrop(f): 4:58am On Aug 25, 2007

Re: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by Orikinla(m): 4:26pm On Aug 26, 2007
Those who say Nigerian men lack dress sense must have been in the company of the Nigerian men who lack dress sense.

Nigerian men are among the best dressed men in the world from Lagos to London to Paris to Milan to New York.

If you associate with bush Nigerian men, you will not know that Nigerian men are Gs in modern haute couture in fashion and style.

Even at only 24, I was dressing in designer silk shirts and Valentino suits with my Nigerian publisher who was 34 then. We were just outstanding whenever we stepped out of the car or jeep like pictures out of GQ. And driving from the 1004 Estate on Victoria Island to Ikoyi to see our respective dates was quite a trip in the late 1980s. And with an office at the Western House on Broad Street, we had no other choice but to dress well all the time. And with our sleek tall frames, we were picture perfect.

If you have Nigerian boyfriends who lack dress sense, teach them. Because, dressing well is the culture of a true gentleman.

Nigerian men are better than Nigerian women in dressing.
Re: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by ThiefOfHearts(f): 5:07pm On Aug 26, 2007
lol Orikinla, so cos you supposedly dressed well means that many of them do? I wish

faketan, I wish I cared.
Re: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by faketan(m): 6:57pm On Aug 26, 2007
TOH please care now. Abeg biko care. wink
Re: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by osisi5: 11:11pm On Aug 26, 2007
Orikinla:

Nigerian men are better than Nigerian women in dressing.

na lie
Re: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by easimoni(m): 12:37am On Aug 27, 2007
Osisi, it's so true.

Here in the US, you can always pick naija women out from a mile away. They are usually poorly dressed with whack hair and even whacker make-up!
