This happened in ondo state, akure precisely I repair phones, my shop was burst and some phones was stolen, unfortunately I have receipt of one of the phone that was stolen, so I took it to a police station in akure and I was charger 25k plus 3k additional, making 28k in total, after lots of conversation I was called like 2 weeks later, I was told the phone is in Lagos, and it will cost me 200k,after much conversation we agreed at 130k, they show me 10 numbers that the person use to call that I should not fear at least one person will be cut, and all my expenses will be payed, so I risk it to, I pay them the money since then things have really changed they are now given me different stories, like they go to Lagos but they couldn't find the phone, another person will say is like the phone is not properly tracked another will say another thing else, by now they are no longer picking my calls so am confused I don't know how to recover my money back from Nigerian police force

This is bad... Kindly tag ASP Hudeyen on twitter, he is the Lagos State police PRO

Nigerian government bought the tracking device using Nigerian tax payers money and gave it to all state command CIB and AntiKidnapping unit

Now they are commercialising it

Nigerian police

Don't put your trust and hope in them.

One time, a guy came with his goons and obtained my phone after tendering some metals. I went to the police station as a law abiding citizen to make a report. They collected 5k from me as mobilization fee and told me to call them anytime the guy is at home. I called inspector David tire. He was requesting for more money to mobilize his men. After several weeks of no effort from them, I decided to get my phone back through the hard and noble way. Spent only 1k for SK and 3k for rum.

After that incident, I got no business with Nigerian police again. If you offend me and I can't handle you on my own, I'll leave you for God to handle.
