I had this particular route to home after school only a few people follows.

But mehn, this "Apia" way is too close to my house, then going round about through the "main" way.

The main road is farther, uneasy, and stressful, imagine taking thrice the miles you would have taken through the "Apia way" on the main road after a stressful school day!

Omo I never went through that way again o. After an ugly situation in 2013, walking through the lonely route all alone after school one faithful day, one-armed man suddenly jumped from no where and gave me the unforgettable run of my life.

I had to run back on the right track, save my life, took the main road, and never for once and for the love of my life attempted going the Apia way again.

This story points directly to you, you don't want to follow the actual main route you prefer the Apia way because it is easy, closer, and cheap. So often have I posted about online business on my Facebook and WhatsApp walls,

I have seen so many run down to google or Youtube to learn what am talking about rather than pay for the courses I recommended. I have known a friend that searched and got a kdp course at a price from a greedy vendor and gave up on the business a week later.

It is your love for Apia way that makes you believe in the Ponzi scheme and juxtapose it with real online businesses like affiliate marketing and Amazon kdp. Many who did that have lost millions of naira and are crying had I know. They wanted easy and their failures were easy and massive.

The love of Apia way has made many believe that one can invest 100 naira and make 10 million in MMM. You have to wake up today, there is no shortcuts to makeng money online, you got to follow the right process, and pay the ultimate price by making the required sacrifices, definitely, you will succeed.

I am I C Morise, an online business consultant. I can help you avoid apia ways to make money online.

Moshalashi Busstop to Jibowu Busstop has 2 routes. You can either walk across the railway line or go all the way to Ojuelegba through Yaba which is like 100 times longer.

One day I was going home from there to Ketu at 2am and saw three men coming the other way holding their shoes on their head crying they'd been robbed.

"Ọmọ ilewe", they said to me, "you better not go that way, or you'd be robbed."

Hmm, I thought, what have I got to be robbed of, me who hasn't got the 50 kobo required for kabukabu to Ketu. And so continued across the railway.

Yours truly was accosted by the robbers who asked me what small me in my school uniform was doing there at 2am.

"I am going home to Ketu, after lessons at Moshalashi", I said, "but I have not got enough to get there. Can you please help me".

They gave me 1 Naira, so I had enough to get home early the next day too.

Sometimes, the "Apia way" is better, is my point, though, not always.

The apia can be easier and better but can you afford the risk when it comes because it is risky, what if they had no conscience and may be kidnapped or butchered. It is the risk factor.

They are thieves, so I doubt they had consciences. And in those days, kidnap or butcher was not as common nor was that their motive or they'd have butchered those I met on the way.

The issues is the affordability of the risk, or more accurately, the perceived risk, and the proper processing of the available information. And I obviously had little to risk at the time since my plan was to walk to Ketu as I had done the night before.

To illustrate. Grandma's house is like 100 metres from grandpa's house where we used to stay, except it's through the bush. It's not a problem in the day, but at night it's kind of scary, being in the village where all sorts of iwins and anjonus are waiting to eat one, they tell me. There's a road, but it's like around the block and like 500 metres.

Grandpa's house has no toilet, but grandma's does with running water to wash your bum and flush, so you can guess which route buda prefers when poo catches buda at night. Iwin and anjonu, please do your worst!

All the same, your point is valid. The "Apia way" is not always the best way, and one should carefully consider the risk factor before taking the risk.
