Stop comparing that failure called Sanwo-Olu with a performing governor. We can see pictures of projects Udom Emmanuel is commissioning every other month.

Can you show us what Sanwo Olu has done with N797b + $1.3b foreign loans, plus N40b monthly IGR, plus monthly FAAC allocation? The looting in Lagos is beyond human comprehension.

Offpoint1:
Let's keep politics aside and acknowledge those who really worked.

San is trying, him and that Akwa Ibom guy are doing well.

Best in what? In looting? Or in acting as conduit pipe?

Show us concrete evidence of what he has done with that humongous amount of money. Stop this tribal rant, and reason like an adult.

You can always judge a person s future performance from their past performance.

Wonder why they collect taxes if they can access such huge sums from thin air.

Taxes are a form of wealth redistribution and control , they re never meant for development. QED. angry

Naturally, I won't respond to your type of mention but calm down and take a chill pill and go get the most basic financial literacy book " Rich dad, poor dad" by Robert Kiyosaki maybe after that you would have been able to learn that money in the n bank is nothing but just a number and you can manipulate debt in your favour....

You still don't get it, RECKLESS Borrowing would destroy even the richest nation or individual.

Lagos State government's borrowing cannot be justified, its reckless borrowing which would end up in the pocket of some private individuals.

Train and road contracts were awarded long before Sanwo-Olu became governor.

The inability of poor Nigerians to separate politics from reality is the bane of our existence. We are ever ready to throw the baby away with the bath water and sadly our politicians have mastered using the masses to fight their proxy wars while they jointly pillage our common patrimony!

It has always been the major problem.
Is it not hypocrites that will call Tinubu a progressive politician when he only steals instead of giving free education for all children, something that is the cornerstone of social mobility

I dare say that the implementation of free education for all children by any state government is a recipe for disaster where the FG doesn't have a free education policy and the other remaining states aren't ready to implement same. The attendant effect is that there would be a lot of migration to such a state therefore putting unnecessary pressure on its resources.

Looking at how people troop into Lagos State on a daily basis one wonders what the governors do with their allocations and IGR. I have seen some states declaring zero IGR in the past, Haba.

LASG can do more and they should but that doesn't mean we should demonise everything about them.

That's so true, I'm struggling to see any serious project initiated and paid for by this Sanwo-Olu Administration, or even completed.
I can count over 16 projects executed and completed by Ambode and close to 10 that he had paid for, to be completed by Sanwo.
No wonder, Tinubu planned and removed him because he was performing way better than tinubu.

This is serious, I've not even taken a look at Sanwo's deliveries all these years, if any.
Wow! An eye opener.

Men, if you do the summation these figures:
Incurred domestic debts: N797bln - N542bln = N255 bln
Incurred foreign debts: approx $500 months (N250 bln)
IGR: N40bln x 40 months = N1,600 bln
Fed Alloc (approx N10 bln x 40 months) = N400 bln circa
Additional loan: N350 bln

You don’t know that the UBEC is for the federal government?
People were not trooping into Lagos when Jakande and Awolowo did free education with shinkinni money, compared to the huge IGR and allocation of the past 24 years? Is the huge IGR not linked to people trooping into the state?

Please what do you gain for excusing failures

Excusing failures? In any case I will let that slide. When Awolowo, Jakande, Ajasin, Onabanjo and co implemented free education, the policy was a party policy that cut across many states and therefore the impact on the migration pattern was not devastating.

What you should be asking is why do few states thrive in this country, with others just contented with sharing allocations monthly without doing anything beyond sharing the booty, believing that they would get another largesse at the end of the month.
