2021/2022 Season

What a difference some few months could make in the world of football. Just some months ago Liverpool was firing from all cylinders. From premier league to champions league to FA cup and Carabao Cup.

After defeating chelsea in both FA cup and Carabao cup, while also defeating Manchester City along the way Liverpool looked unstoppable. Though Chelsea lost to Liverpool on both occasions via penalties after 90mins and extra time, it was the courageous effort of young players and the excellent form of senior players that got everyone talking.

At some point in the league Liverpool looked unbeatable as every of their players from each department were in-form and delivering on a weekly basis.

However towards the end of the season the capitulation began! Signs of tiredness began to show.

The loss to madrid was a painful one as the team really played but master tactician Ancelotti knows very well how to tame Jurgen klopp's men from his days at everton.

Losing the league to man city capped the whole bad omen for Liverpool. So agonisingly close to a quadruple yet lost the two Bigger ones, thanks to tuchel, klopp and his men could have finished the season empty handed.

2022/2023 Season

The departure of mane was a shocking one but not unexpected. He has won all that could be won with Liverpool so he had to try out new adventure. The signing of nunez brought some positivity amidst reds fans as the player showed great quality while playing for benefica and also scoring against Liverpool in both legs in the champions league.

The preseason games of liverpool should have been a warning sign of what to expect from the Liverpool team as they lost woeful to erik ten hag rejuvenated manchester united by four goals to nothing and also loosing to liepzieg.

The poor run of form for Liverpool could be partially attributed to loss of experienced players to injury however the sloppiness of the team's top performers says it all. It is rumored that jurgen klopp has lost it all just like tuchel did before being sacked, while records also show the nemesis of the 7th season for jurgen klopp. Which either way it is crystal clear something is wrong wrong with the Liverpool squad.

Big wins followed by a crazy losses to bottom teams is unexplainable and unacceptable by klopp's standard and even the reds fans standards!
