UK Visa Requirements-Study in UK: The United Kingdom is one of the most famous study destinations for international students. The country is sought after by foreigners who wants to further their education and/or get a good job. UK attracts international students from all over the world.

It is important to bear in mind that getting a student UK visa can be quite difficult and time consuming. Things like this take time so you have to be patient when you begin the process of obtaining a UK visa.

UK Visa Requirements-study in UK
The following should be submitted when applying for a UK visa:

UK visa Application form. This is filled online at the website of the Visa4UK website. Or you can get the manual form and fill completely and carefully. Make sure you read the contents before filling the form.
Photographs. You will submit two photographs in colour and make sure the photographs are taken within the past 6 months.
A valid Passport. The passport aside having a blank page for the visa should be valid for 3 months beyond the date you plan to travel.
Proof you can cater for yourself financially and be able to afford living costs while in the UK. This includes pay slips or bank statements for the last few months.
Proof of accommodation. You will have to prove that you have an accommodation already in the UK. That is a document showing where you will live while staying in the UK.
Submit a travel plan. This shows what and why you want to travel to UK. Make sure you include dates and places you will be visiting and other relevant activities you will be engaging in.
Biometric Information. This is needed if you plan to stay more than 6 months.
A UK invitation letter if you will be staying with a friend. Remember, your friend/host must be a UK national.
Receipt showing you have paid for the UK visa fees.
If your documents are not in English then you will need to translate it to either English or Welsh.
Additional documents for applicants not above the age of 18
If you are under the age of 18, then you will have to submit the following documents:

Birth Certificate.
A signed letter from your parents confirming the details of the person you are travelling with. That is if you are not travelling with your parents. And a copy of the parent’s biographical; page of their pass port or that of the guardian.
How much are the UK visa fees?
Now, the UK visa fees depends on the type of visa you are applying for. The Home Office charges applicants a fee to process their application.

These fees vary from type to type of visas that applicants apply for. For example, it will cost you one hundred pounds for applying for a visit visa short up to 6 months but will cost three hundred and seventy-six pounds if you are applying for a visit visa that will last up to two years.
