So I had over 2000 naira worth of airtime bonus which I couldn't use due to their new policy of not allowing calls with bonus if there is no airtime in the sim (already used my main airtime to buy data).
So I decided to borrow airtime #100 this morning to make an urgent call and as soon as I dialed *303#, they automatically loaned me airtime of #5000 without any prompting. Now I have to start paying a debt of #5000 that I didn't plan for.
Has anyone experienced this before?

It's not about the money being huge. Ive payed it already. It's how they just loaned me without me asking just to get extra 750 as service charge.

I go dump the line and buy another one after I don use all the airtime.

That new policy is a scam

Even if you recharge, stupid MTN will make sure they exhaust your main airtime before allowing you to use your airtime bonus

My MTN sim is the one connected to my bank and all but if they try this shit with me I'll personally take the stress to go to all the bank and change it. Then break the SIM after using the credit to browse. Nonsense .
