We are hiring a Retail-experienced, floor Supervisor. The aim of this role is to oversee employee work including retail operations, store and product presentation, and customer service.


Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for producing a profit for the store

• Build a team of engaged associates to drive profitable sales

• Delegate necessary tasks and expectations to associates to keep up to the company’s standard

• Provide coaching and training sessions monthly with associates to discuss ways to improve

• Hold accountability of associates daily

• Weekly meeting with the team

• Provide customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints

• Perform sales floor work, assisting associates in shelving or taking inventory

• Plan and direct staffing, training and performance evaluation to develop and control sales

• Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties

• Review operational records and report to project sales and determine profitability

• Monitor customer preference to determine the focus of sales effort

• confer with potential customers regarding product needs and advise customers on types of products to purchase.

• Answer customers' question about merchandise and advice customers on merchandise selection

• Design and set up advertising sign and display of merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales

• Direct and supervise employee engaged in sales, reconciling cash.

• Monitor sales activities to ensure customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.

• Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales.

• Assign employees to specific duties

• Enforce safety, health and security rules

• Examine merchandise to ensure it is correctly priced and displayed and that it functions as advertised.



Required Qualifications

1. Minimum HND Degree

2. 2+years post NYSC experience in the same role in a reputable Retail FMCG group.

3. A hands-on knowledge of Retail Operational Procedures and Techniques

4. Ability to provide a positive Customer Experience

5. Merchandise handling and sales promotion techniques

6. Preferred applicants should reside within 30minutes-Ihr walking/driving distance to Osapa-London, Lekki, Lagos.

Resumption: Immediately


Remuneration: 960,000- 1,200,000 Naira per annum


Workdays and hours: Shift Rota, (4 half days and 2 full days per week),
