I never said anybody is in it (politics) for nothing. Everybody has their reason for being in politics. What I said was “Nigeria needs a sincere leader”. Obi represents that. Maybe, you are expecting too much from politicians, they aren’t going there to put food on your table.

What people don't get also is the money paid to attendees, view the money as incentive, it's like sharing food. Imagine me standing at a rally under hot sun for 4hrs and going home later with nothing, not even cold pure water, even if I'm a party members I won't come because it'll be sufferness. With 2k you could easy convinced me to attend.

Imagine LP bringing busses to University of ibadan campus with small cash incentives, the number of youth they'll have attracted alone will full a stadium, you can even convinced those who are not decided to vote for you.

Proper mobilization has to be done from this way forward

Every political rallies is all about mobilization. Some people will have to do the dirty job underground to bring people to the campaign rally. Same on on election day, Some people's duty for their party is to convince people to vote their party candidate while some will voluntarily come out either for campaign or to vote.

On this two scenarios, APC or PDP will beat LP hands down. That is the reality.

No politician is strong to win an election based on only his popularity.

Buhari would have never rule us if he still remain in CPC, Amosun would have not been governor of Ogun if he was in ANPP. As a politician; your popularity might give you 30% of organic votes while your party can do the dirty job to give you 70% votes.

Good luck to Obi, but he himself know all this truth and he's just trying to make statement for PDP, so that he might get their ticket in next election if Atiku lose.

Moreso, Obi election results in NW, NE and Central will be like buhari's own in SE during 2011. Obi will try in SW and NC but he might not get 100,000 votes from any of their state. He's going to get a good numbers in SS and SE.

We all hate the order of the day in Nigeria politicts but the reality about our election process cannot be denied.

Most people that are politically unaffiliated are still undecided while others like me see Obi as a deviation from the norm. He is different from the same set of people that destroyed this country and are contesting under APC and PDP. I have always said for Nigeria to change, the people will have to change too. We are our problem! Nigeria needs a sincere leader to start the process and that’s what Obi represents.
