Most masses regretted voting for him, because most of his policies are anti masses and are targeted at them. You people should bear it for the next four years.

usually i resist the urge to comment on some topics on Nairaland, but I just couldn't help myself here.

I am not a lagosian, I usually visit Lagos on and off over the years for business, and I quickly run away as soon as I am thru with my business because the lagos I was used to was practically uninhabitable.

I have been in Lagos now for the last 2 wks, and even the most cynical of persons has to admit that the Fashola govt has been good to Lagos. And I am not just talking about Oshodi, or Yaba. Infrastructural devpt is evident everywhere. Fashola may not be perfect, but I dare say he is doing a damn good job!

If Adams Oshiomole, my state gov, does half of what BRF is doing, we will troop out daily to sing his praise. And, such comments that lagosians regret voting for Fashola is just not true. There is no one I have interacted with in this 2 wks, that hasn't commended the gov for the obvious changes.

And if anyone is expressing regrets the question arises, 'who were the options?' Can any of these fictitious people name a person who would have been a better replacement?

The answer my guys is obvious. I am no praise-singer/ sycophant. Just a realist calling things the way I see them,

Of course there will always be some who regret. But how many can this be? And what fraction of the population? Even Jesus Christ wouldn't have a 100% approval rating, let alone Fashola.

However, he probably has the highest approval rating of any major politician in Nigeria. Which is not insignificant, imo.

The curses that are pronounced daily on his head because of his thievery and that of his godfather will eventually cause the veil of holiness he has put on his demonic nature to fall. Of course, those that are benefiting from that theft will not escape those curses, to wit:

1. Those who profit illicitly from the funds paid by Lagos Taxpayers will reap a thousand-fold the grief those taxpayers are put through daily because of the theft of their funds by the governor, his boss and all their lackeys, including, but not limited to their "PR Consultants" who front for them in the media, on online fora and elsewhere, in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

2. Any of such funds that finds its way into your pockets, whether "legally" (through the dishonest laws they've made to corner our resources, e.g., PPP Law, resulting in Lekki Epe expressway concessioning, the Governors Pension Law, resulting in Bola Tinubu cornering some of the choicest property in Lagos as part of his pension, while still receiving his FULL salary and expenses as governor, for life - he's the ONLY former governor of Lagos State getting this. Even Jakande is not getting it!), will ALWAYS buy desolation for you. If you use it to buy cars, the cars will constantly be involved in mishaps. If you use it to buy property, you will never know peace in those properties. If you use it to educate your children, those children will become vagabonds and miscreants before your very eyes. Peace will elude you. Strife shall be your constant companion. Wailing and regret shall never leave you. No matter how well fed you are, you will always be hungry. Your wisdom shall be turned into foolishness. You will be despised amongst men. Your end shall be inglorious. In the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Of course, if you earn your money honestly, and have not abused your position to award yourself huge, unmerited benefits, all of these shall not be your portion. You shall be truly Blessed of the Lord. In the Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.

Fashola's demonic nature? If what you say is true, then I see no reason to have any hope in Nigeria undecided

Are you sure you are not overreacting a bit?

He might not be demonic, be he is certainly not the hope/future of Nigeria. He seems more like the future for Tinubu!
