There is nothing wrong for Proffesor Ishaq Akintola, the Director of MURIC, A Muslim right organization to give such pragmatic advice to Moslem students to avoid Christian University.
However, it is most unfortunate that his choice of words in denigrating these Most Preferred Higher Institution of Learning, renowned for their teaching of core Christian values, higher standards of Education, and Quality Academic teachings among the Christian Faithfuls is nothing short of the level of bitterness, disdain and spite The Professor abhor toward the Christian Faith.
Even most provocative is the fact that this is coming barely a couple of days after the APC Presidential Candidate, Senator Bola Hammed Tinubu, who is running a controversial Muslim-Muslim Ticket allays the fear of the Christian Association Body, CAN over his choice of same-faith Ticket.
With the latest unsavory vitriolic from Muric Director, who had earlier insisted, "Moslem won't vote 'Christian Candidates' in 2023", is this the precursor to what Christian should expect under a Muslim-Muslim administration -
*A Society where Christians have no right to create an enabling environment to inculcate Christian values without fear of undue interference from any Group or Government Agency?
*An Islamic State where Government institutions only serve Moslem interest since 'only Muslims vote in Muslim'. Not only that, but Nigeria University Commission can also stop Christian University from teaching Christian values while Koranic School are free to operate without let or hindrance?!
*An Apartheid Society where other Religion faithfuls can not Comment on Faceless Public forums - even when such forums are not own by Muslim - unless they swears an Islamic Oath; but Christian Schools would be mandated to throw the sanctity of their sanctuary open for all to desecrate?!

Muric and its one man leader has always leaned towards extremism, and gives full support to terrorists and terrorism, or has anyone heard muric speak when chibok girls and other people were kidnapped, molested or killed. But you will hear muric try to defend the terrorists when they are being dealt with decisively.

Some of muric statements are suggestive of creating chaos but because he is based in the Southwest, nobody recognizes him or gives him audience. He must be very sad that he has no network of extremists working with him already. Perhaps he should relocate to the Boko haram enclave where he would be most appreciated for his extreme views and tendencies.

The bolded is wrong because any and every of Akintola supposed One-man opinion is always graced on Nairaland Frontpage.
I think the Prof. is seriously doing a huge damage to Tinubu chances even in his South West stronghold.
Tinubu as a matter of urgency should call this man to order or at best issue a disclaimer to dissociate his choice of same-faith Ticket from Muric agenda.

The man also goes on radio to express his extremist views. Won’t be surprised if it’s all paid features to remain relevant.

Ignore him. Tinubu or not, terrorism will never thrive amongst Yorubas who are some of the most cerebral people on earth judging from their strong culture, tolerance and achievements.

If he is ignored and not stopped at this early stage, it is just a matter of time - when he start wearing suicide vest in hijab disguise - then I believe he will get all the attention he craved!
