I took this e-commerce design from behance to build a website for a IT accessories store. I just finished the styling using TailwindCss.
I am developing the app using Nextjs instead of plain React for SEO purposes. I also want to state that i made some changes to the design because the design was for a clothing store while i am building for an IT store. Also, the design didnt come with a style guide, so the fonts and colors might differ. On a scale of 1 to 10, what do u think?

My little contribution.

UI/UX is key.

A fashion store has a different presentation to a tech store.

A fashion store might have just one major design as a showcase while a tech store would have dozens.

You did well in the replication but what is the UX when customers visit?

Visit apple dot com, surf then visit your site. Your ‘feel’ would guide on the missing points.

Theirs going to be a drop-down with categories if that’s what you are talking about.

No. You seem not to understand me.

Visit pcplaceng dot com.

That is an example of an ecommerce tech store.

Your visitors have a better experience when they can get what they want with minimal stress.

You would be selling more than one item (this is why you are different from a fashion brand. A fashion brand itself is different from a fashion store).

Look at konga and jumia. Those are general item stores but still flow along that channel.

If your users have to dig through unnecessary designs and hints, then the UX is affected.

Besides, how do you intend to scale this design for a mere 200 items?

Visit those sites, pick the proper design cue and apply.

Your skills are fantastic and I believe if you chose the right design, you would be able to bring it out well.

Hope you understand?
