*Michael Ola Femi puts Tinubu rightly fitted into his ranking stacks*

Between 1999 to 2007, the star governors then were Donald Duke of Cross River, Chimaroke Nnamani of Enugu, even though Ibori would be later jailed, he had more projects to himself than the so called Jagaban.

Ibori practically changed the face of his own town like what Oshiomhole and Ambode did to Iyahmo and Epe respectively. Then, Yaradua of Katsina and Markafi of Kaduna, although he struggled because of sharia and the Kaduna crisis which left a major dent on his administration.

Lagos was never celebrated in governance until Fashola became governor in 2007. I remember clearly the fight Tinubu had with Obasanjo about local government creation, that was the major reason Lagos was on the news then, apart for obvious reasons as Nigeria’s economic capital, there was nothing spectacular in Lagos governance then apart from the filths and dirts that littered the former pride of the nation.

There was nothing exciting about Tinubu’s leadership except his meticulous politics. He was a last man standing of the AD governors of the Southwest region then.

We still remember how Tinubu was changing his deputies like sidechicks. There was one Bucknor then and another Femi Pedro, they all fell out with Tinubu.

We remember clearly how Tinubu almost never wanted Fashola to complete his term but Fashola being a system man, managed to, unlike Ambode who, although being very good as a leader didn’t know how to manage power.

Tinubu, typical of most governors in his sets; 1999-2007, was mediocre like Lucky Igbinedion, Alams, Dariye etc. It is sad how people want to re-write history before our eyes.

How would someone attribute the Lagos success story to Tinubu, it is very painful to read that sometimes. Lagos was already Lagos before Tinubu was born. You can go and verify this.

You guys should show a mega project attributed to Tinubu. One he started and completed like the Tinapa of Calabar or the 10 lanes road constructed by Peter Obi’s government 10 years ago that is still standing or the Akpabio’s miracle of Akwa-Ibom or the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge by Fashola or Wike’s flyovers. You can’t point at any, you can only say he built men. How? As per their father? or by using undemocratic means to install stooges, who by their conscience chose to be men as expected.

It is very sad that I can’t respond to comments here because Facebook has restricted my account but truth be said, as a politician, Tinubu is astute but as a leader, he shouldn’t come near to power. He is just not what we want. We cannot finish a Buhari and start with a Tinubu.

Copied !!!
Old residents in Lagos be the Judge.

You are a lair

There was no governor that was as popular as Tinubu between 1999 and 2007

I don't have time for long stories but check this titles

1. Enron Project
2. Creation of additional council
3. Fued between Lagos state and FG
4. Ikeja Cantoment bomb blast
5. Establishment of LASTMA
6. Establishment of Emergency Unit
7. Payment of highest bursary to undergraduates
8. Payment of SSCE exam fee
9. Procurement of first tranche of BRT
10. Establishment of LAWMA

All these were pioneer initiative that attracts criticism and commendation from the public making Tinubu and Lagos the most discussed subject in the public arena, with airwaves full of talks about him.

Tinubu's inability to present a straight biography is one of them. Nothing about him is straightforward; his age, his name, his certificates, his schools (primary, secondary, university), his parents, his source of wealth, the state of his health, his ever-changing ideology, etc. Even his classmates are unknown.

They all hallucinate about a non-existent Lagos until Tinubu showed up in 1999? Lagos that has been the capital of Nigeria since 1969?

Tinubu and his miscreants are just pathological liars and incorrigible fraudulent clowns that never live in the light of truth but in the shadows of lies.

This is why the lied shamelessly about his academic qualifications, hired fake bishops and stole Donald Duke young imagine to disguise @ his own with no remorse. They always live a fake and sanctimonious life hence are very deceitful charlatans and hardened criminals

The Maroko land improvement Scheme was a project started and completed by Brig-Gen Raji Rasaki and further improved by Military Administrators who took control of the State after his administration.

It was the legendary Alhaji Lateef Jakande who had actually opened up the Lekki peninsula when the first democratic elected governor broke through the forests and the swamps with his road building crew, erecting first class roads from Ozumba Mbadiwe to the fringes of Epe, thereby opening up the Eastern corridor of Lagos State. Gbolahan Mudashiru, the military Administrator who succeeded him, pushed the construction to Epe.

Of course, as the governor of the State from 1999 to 2007, the Administration of Ahmed Bola Tinubu added one lane to the existing two and erected toll gates to generate revenues.

The general upgrades that attend the continuous service improvement on the Lekki & Eastern Corridor is a combined effort which had evolved over time and leaders at every stage of their engagement have added value to the Lekki peninsula. Finally, just like all human activities and endeavours, Lagos is a work in progress. It is never an arrival.

Government is a continuum, a progressive work in perpetual motion where all protagonists fulfil their chore and leave the scene for others to continue. That’s the rhythm of life. No one is ever etched in perpetual relevance save the grace of the living God

Forget all these episodes.
Let Emilokan show us just his primary and secondary school certificates or at least classmates. Very simple.

Waiting for Tinubu built Lag abi na modern Lagos crew to counter the writer with concrete projects like he pointed out in his write up.
I was ashamed of Fashola the day I watched him attribute his achievement's to Tinubu just in a bid to foist an expired product on Nigerians.. let's concentrate on shooting down their lies, tomorrow when it matters to Fashola and he tries to sway us with his achievement's we will then tell him he has already denied himself by attributing his to Tinubu.

Lagos ceased being capital since 1981, year many of you were not born. So you won't appreciate the impact.
