Are you sure he's not fronting for a politician, from the article, Greenville is a subsidiary of a construction company in Luxembourg, everyone one knows that those are tax havens, the guy is a smart money launderer. Tech is just overrated in Nigeria, oil and gas is where the real money is, the barrier of entry is very high, if you can break in , you're made.

If you are living up north you would have being seeing his trucks. The asca truck is blue colour while the green ville own is yellow colour. They mostly ply kaduna - abuja expressway

Well He is just a smart entrepreneur, Gas powered Trucks safes cost of operations since they are the supplier of Gas.

Also as regards increase in price, put in mind that the plant is in Rumuji, port harcourt. Cost of transporting Gas from PH to Sokoto is quite High considering bad roads and the KMS to those loations. in Addition, the fallen value of Naira plays a key role as most of the production equipment are being imported.

I know asca very well and know most of their drivers plying south,I heard it was sold back then.

There should more competition to open up the LPG market. It's sad Greenville can't keep to contracts it signs. We have OPLs in the Anambra basin, Imo River and Akwa-ibom. Smaller start up should take up the challenge of building mini-LNG plants, the technology to do that is now available and getting more cost effective.
Nigeria should take this 'decade of gas' mantra seriously. I'm aware Oando is doing something similar in Ajaokuta, Waltersmith is quite impressive with what it did in Imo State, they are currently expanding their operations to include a mini-lng plant and 45000 condensate refinery.
The economy of country will be driven by gas, states like Akwa-ibom, Rivers, Delta, Imo, Edo and probably Anambra could see GDP improve remarkably if they start investing in gas for industrialization.
