As the 2023 general election draws closer, it is becoming more evident who the major gladiators are.

From my observations, there are four major contenders for the number one office in the country. They are listed in no particular order as follows:

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Atiku Abubakar
Peter Obi
Rabiu Musa Kwakwaso

All have traveled far and near soliciting for the people's vote, while some are gaining more weight as the days goes by, others are playing catch-ups.

So far, I have observed from many Peter Obi supporters that if for any reason, their candidate cannot win it, they find Atiku Abubakar as the person who they feel might still represent their interest.

Similarly, majority of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's supporters, though, believes he is the man to beat considering his network coverage across ethnic and religious groups and of course being sponsored by the party in power still has soft spot for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the PDP.

Although, I reside in the northern part of Nigeria, the supporters of Rabiu Musa Kwakwaso understand it will be a miracle for their man to be the overall winner of the election, many are already looking forward to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar while a few will have no problems having Tinubu has the president.


On the final note, the PDP presidential candidate, though, in my opinion started brightly but recently, his campaign is not gaining the momentum it started with, still pride himself the unifiar.
Who knows, the Turaki of Adamawa might just be the unitary point between the two parallel lines of obidient and the batifieds.
