elrufai till date remains the best minister of f.c.t. but he's being hated by many simply because he demolished their illegal houses along major express routes and built a well deserved road in the capital city that we all enjoy today. why would one be hated for doing the right thing?
maybe guy man would be loved if only he didn't demolish those houses and stole those money meant for development. elrufai won't be hated but the growth of fct would have been stalled and made much more difficult. the fct was made capital city since 1976 but until elrufai became minister, the impact wasn't felt.

Governor of kaduna.
Again kaduna had all the facilities and structures of becoming the capital of the north but it failed and was way behind kano city until elrufai came in. today kaduna lost glory is now feasible especially in developmental terms. the educational quality has improved, infrastructure has improved standard of living has also improved. in fact no govt has involved in infrastructure development like elrufai but yet he's being hated. like I said ealier, maybe he should have stolen those monies and ignored progress them he'll be loved.
under elrufai he's been able to handicap those politicians fueling religious crisis in kaduna state. religious crisis in kaduna is fast becoming a thing of the past. but yet man is hated by people.
seems we love men who do the wrong thing.

if you hate elrufai, can you tell us again why you hate a man as rare as elrufai cos I'm sure many state would kill to have him as governor.

elrufai made a statement when the FG kept failing to end the insecurity in those southern kaduna district that they would employ foreign mechinery to end those killing if the FG keeps failing in securing those district . what was the response from Kaduna CAN? they kicked against it. they made it political.
what do you expect from elrufai? to go ahead so CAN would continue politicising the issues? no ill rather ignore if I were him.

see I've stayed in zaria city and I've met a lot of Christians there. they are all great full to elrufai cos they know they were never real religious crisis in kaduna but politicians employing those thugs using religion as a tool to get their sentiment, a move which elrufai has reduced to the barest minimum.

Maybe it's because of his soft-on-crime policies. Paying off killers doesn't work. It just incentives more to extort the state and people. I do appreciate his honesty about how bad crime was in his state.

one thing ive learnt about democracy is that no matter how rigorous you are, you ,use compromise. Even the Us pay terrorist when it's needed and attack them when it's also needed. Elrufai has done both and you know if not that somethings are beyond his reach, he'll have ended insecurity in kaduna. He's been vocal about it and has always made a very necessary compromise.
Also his honesty has always been there.

I don't know but I guess it's hypocritical if we judge people by output and not intentionscos we actually judge ourselves by our intention. I think it has a long term effect to people keeping positive intentions.
