It is a pleasure for me to come up with this thread, knowing the impact this will have in our homes, and relationships in general. Please, join me as we at this mystery of increase, and solidification of relationships, which many ignore.

It is necessary to understand the following.
Power: Ability/capacity to direct/exercise control, or influence the behavior of others, or course of events, in order to achieve their goals, despite possible opposition / resistance.
Appreciation: Recognizing, enjoying the good qualities of a person, a situation, or a thing, and the expression for the valued comfort.
Relationships/Family:
Gathering of people, comprising adults, youths, teens, and children.
Immediate /Extended Family, Groups, Church, Community.

Appreciation is a vital key to the success of any relationship.
How does the expression of gratitude (appreciation) [/b]affect our families, or relationships?

The resultant effect of appreciation are numerous forms of encouragement, new vigor, strengthening relationships, opening up of opportunities, greater responsilities, supports, increases, and many other positive impacts.

Mystery of Appreciation Revealed - Case Study.
Please, let us consider the passage, Luke 17 :12-19, from the Bible. This is the story of the Ten Lepers, who requested that Jesus should have mercy on (heal) them.
Usually, lepers do live in the midst of healthy people, but in colony in the outskirts of cities(suburbs).

V13: The ten lepers requested for Jesus to have mercy on them in their situation, and heal them.
V14: Jesus responded with act of kindness, care and compassion, willingly yielded to the requested favor, thus exhibiting God's Love.
V15,16: The Ten Lepers recognized that they have been healed, however, only one turned back, with an expression of gratitude (appreciation).
V19 Jesus Christ acknowledged the expression of gratitude of that one leper with additional blessing, which the remaining nine didn't get.

What are the learning points from this case study?

I will like to make this clarification about relationships. Relationship is a connection, association, or involvement. Connection between persons, by blood or by marriage. Emotional, or other connection between people.

Everyone is involved, with a level of commitment, to make the relationship successful and rewarding. There's need to understand that commitments can't be 50-50. Due to individual merits and demerits, strength and weakness, there's need to be accommodating, with complementary efforts, to make things work for good. Emphasis should always be on the merits and strength, to build formidable and lasting relationships, irrespective of challenges.

Learning Points

1. When faced with negative realities of life, remember, when there's life, there's hope. Prayerfully identify someone who could be of help, and request for help with sincerity (Matthew 7:7. Ask, and it shall be given you.....).
2. Jesus Christ revealed Himself as love personified, with compassion, and willingness to do good. Jesus Christ in our lives should make the difference - Emmanuel, God in us, revealed in us.
Is God revealed in us in our daily activities?
3.One out of ten recognized his healing, and returned with expression of gratitude(appreciation). Gratefulness, being thankful for the favor received.
4. Appreciation releases more(greater) blessings/rewards.
