Fraudulent Transactions On My Access Bank Account by toolovely(m): 3:56am On Dec 06, 2022
About 4:43pm yesterday, e sent money to someone and called him that I have sent the money. He called me around past 8pm that he's yet to receive the money. At about past midnight, I decided to check my transactions history to be certain the transaction didn't go through. To my utmost surprise, I saw different transactions that I don't know how. This idiot by name, Chukwudum Izuakor using my account to transfer money to his wife I suppose by name, Serena Chinwendu Anulika Izuakor.
He disables my transactions notifications both sms and email and delete the transaction history.
I called their customer service to block the account, the lady said that the application wasn't available at the moment. I moved my remaining balance to my other bank, sent a mail to them with the screenshot of some of the transactions he forgot to delete.
Only for me to open my account again, my entire transaction history have been deleted....

Only God knows how long this has been going on....

The banks should know that no serious customer will want their notifications to email, sim and app disabled without a strong reason.
Those are read flags the bank should learn to spot and act upon.

Guy! The complains about Access is been very much here, you should have open an account with another bank, move all your money in, and abandon that Access. I was able to talk my brother into abandon that Access and he listened to me, he is not more use it. Access is no more a bank, all Thier workers are fraudsters, no serious security on that a about. In Gtbank, if you wanna disable sim notification, you will have to walk in to the bank, fill some forms and submit it and it will still take up to a week before that can be done or not done at all because they wanna discourage you.

Same thing here

They changed my phone number, to a strange glo line, to prevent me from getting SMS alert .
And laid an ambush on my account. The day I found out this anomaly , i decided not to have more than 2000 in that account. I only use it to recharge phone

Access Bank is notorious for fraudulent activities like this.

Dec 31st 2019, na so i received debit alert, while at work arnd 5pm.
Funny enough, the transaction was carried out in Luton Uk, with an expired ATM card. According to the bank. Which i know they are jst trying to covered up.
I mail CBN severally, no response from their end, eventually i have to abandoned the account for them.

Two years ago, I fled from Access. They debited me 40k on the 20th of December. By 21st, they returned it without going there. On the 23rd they debited 70k. This time, I rushed to the bank only to be told a casual "sorry" and the money restored. I closed the account that day. They pleaded, carjoled me, smiled, joked.,I said Lai Lai, it must be closed...and it was closed. And I had peace.

I'm still surprised that people still use access bank despite the fraudulent activities that are normally associated with them. For me, even with a gun on my head i won't open an account with them.

Honestly this is one of the numerous reason I stopped using regular bank and just switched to PalmPay and I have regretted so far

I use the PalmPay app for free bank transfers and to get discounts on airtime and more. Use my link to join and get N100 airtime for Free. https://link.palmpay.com/R2ih

You should check it too
