According to reports, the businessman was cycling with other bikers when a car drove into their bikes on Gerrard Road in the upscale district of Ikoyi, Lagos, and then drove off, leaving them with very serious injuries.

I used to see them cycling within that corridor. I always knew with many untrained drivers around it's a disaster waiting to happen. A once beautiful, quiet vicinity before construction of Ikoyi link bridge. R.I.P.

Part of my cycling route today too, Bourdillon to Gerrard is risky because of the penchant of excited drivers to want to speed when they meet the good road

Thank God his father is not alive to hear such news. It would have sent him to the grave.
