Obi Should Stand Down And Endorse Tinubu Instead Of Postponing Campaigns by OsunOriginal: 9:05am On Dec 15, 2022
To the chagrin of many political watchers, Obi announced the indefinite postponement of his campaigns in Ondo and Ekiti states initially slated for Dec 15 and 16 respectively. The postponement shows things are not going on well with Obi's campaigns and especially given the very poor outing in Kogi and Taraba. Going to Ondo and Ekiti as planned after Kogi would have been a rolling failure for Obi and his team.

With reality staring Obi in the face everywhere he goes, won't it be manly for him to stand down and endorse Tinubu?

The youths are solidly behind Obi. Most people who you see during the APC presidential campaigns are not supporting Tinubu.

It's for Obi to save his face... Tinubu doesn't need his support/endorsement to win.

True talk, so the south can converge behind the right man. Obi is just self centered, he even got his labor ticket by bribing everyone, there were others in line, he just came in and bought the Labor party's presidential ticket, by paying off the king makers.

A labor party chieftain sued Obi at that point, he was complaining of irregularities in the Labor presidential ticket primaries.

I think the rally date clashes with his Chatham outing, but nonetheless everyone knew LP will find it near impossible holding rallies in every state of the country, Obi gave it a good fight though..

If he doesn't end his race this month, then that means he truly stands a chance.

Atiku is next, say no to rookies.

But you're the one crying already for Obi to step down.

Ogbeni let's meet at the poll.

Your Tinubu will be retired forever and your hot tears will gladden my heart that day.

The Minna rally was a huge success. The crowd was beyond massive. The rally was brought to a quick end because of crowd control. Even the organizers did not envisage such a massive turnout. Tinubu left the campaign ground and went to commission the APC campaign office in Minna. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him. Peter Obi should do the right thing by collapsing his campaign structure for Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the overall interest of Nigeria.
