I wish nairaland made it mandatory to put real names.

Some people will never get paid employment in their entire lives.

Don't be surprised that it is an Igbo man or woman somewhere that is providing that fool his daily bread.

We are in a world where people don't accept the truth.

OP, you need to be very careful with your words on social media. Sometimes you just need to keep the truth to yourself.

Watch your language when you're talking in a public. Tomorrow you might not be lucky.

I know nairaland has really affected my view of ethnicity i dont think i can ever be the same again. grin
Today i saw a news on the front page where it was said that millons of northerners have sold their votes for 2000 naira ,i took to my whatsapp status and posted a similar story on my whatsapp expressing my dissapointef in northerners for sellling their votes desptes suffering so much,i said irs obvious most of them are unexposed.
Omo i didnt know that a new girl i just met was a hausa girl, she read it and took it very personal, this girl replied me asap calling me stupid, bla bla bla i just lockup i didnt read he messages, she called i didnt pick immediately she ran to my house and met me outside omo na so this girl change am for me oooh, saying she is dissapointed in me that she never knew i was a tribalist,i didnt say a word then she burst into tears OMo i was thrown off balance i never knew it has gotten to that extent i had to embrace her and comfort her telling her i am sorry before she finally stop crying.
My question is why is it normal to insult igbo people in Nigeria,we are called ritualist, fake product sellers, our women are called prostitutes by other tribes but you will never see igbos react to that in real life, but let an igbo talk about other tribes it bevomes tribalism why?
the case of you guys and northern nigeria is like a case of two children who started schooling together, 1 was highly intelligent while the other was too dull and had to drop out of school, you guys laughed him in school cos of his poor performance and he lost momentum, the discrimination went on even outside school but dude knows deep inside him, he's not as bad as they portray him, time went by and guy man was into handwork, he was still poor at it but people valued him cos of his weak mentality hoping they'll be able to cheat him easily, slowly and gradually he was improving and getting the customers while the student who was highly intelligent was coming to terms with life reality about the competition in education chain. 20years past the educated guy probably became a cultists due to frustration in the educational system and was forced to graduate with a much lower grade, time flies and he has no real skill but unqualified paper qualification that wont get him a decent job without strong connection. years past the educated guy became a teacher, knows how to package himself on a little salary but envy the old guy he knew in class who earns almost times 3 than him but still can't package himself. you looked at him and deeply wished you could be him but pride and envy makes you insult him in his back that he's an illiterate who can't arrange himself.
that's the reality. 15 years back, the north barely had good state project compared to the south but today the reverse is the case. the south can't match the north in terms of infrastructure and economic growth, the GDP of the north is much improved compared to the south but pride won't make you admit it, after all you laughed at us and capitalise on our educational deficit. time flies, in 2011 only 1 million children were in school in kano but as at 2015, the number rose to 3 million, the number has increased again to over 5million, you keep calling us illetrate and backward but in minutes, our investment would yield and before you know we've overtaken you guys in infrastructure and education without you even realising.

And also ,on the side, try collect two or three rounds sharperly.

Stop playing the victim.

Every tribe get abused here. It's worse for northerners be there are little of them that can defend themselves here.
