[size=14pt]RCCG set to turn Colchester’s old theatre into church[/size]

Nigeria’s leading Pentecostal Church – the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, is leading the race to turn Colchester’s former garrison theatre into a place of worship and community centre.

The Victorian theatre near Abbey Fields, according to a report by Daily Gazette, was put on the market last year, with a condition it should be used by residents of the old Army garrison site.

But the church, which has been meeting at a converted warehouse, off Brook Street, for the last five years, wants to convert the impressive former theatre, built in 1898. RCCG has first option on buying the building, if planning permission is granted by Colchester Council.

Rccg wouldn't go to any of the countries you just listed cause there is no 'market' there. It is their policy to go to only countries where there is a ready population of Nigerian believers that they can generate revenue from.

^^^Thats one thing I dont like about these pastors, these guys put fears in their followers and they keep their mouth shut even when the evil deeds are so glarin. I can see that fears is workin on you too

You are telling me that God anointed you specially for busting fake pastors?. Why didn't God also anoint you to bust crooked politicians since you have the EFCC anointing?.

Nobody needs any "anointing" to expose false teaching - even atheists without any "anointing" can see through many of these things. The man who boasts about a gift that does not exist is like clouds and wind without rain (Proverbs 25:14).

Anointing is given by God to promote the Gospel with positive results that bring unbelievers into His Kingdom. When Christians are presented with "another Gospel" that does not bring SALVATION, the anointing for discernment (which all believers have, 1 John 2:27) comes into operation. This anointing does not need any man to teach the believer in such matters ("the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you".

Indeed, "The earth is the Lord's and its fullness thereof"

[b][size=16pt]You see, I am not here to say what you said is correct or not rather, my take in the argument is, why would a Church of God have Aeroplanes in the first place?  They claimed, they are used for the work of God when Jesus had no shoes let alone a bicycle?  

What happened to humility? The Apostle Paul, trekked and sometimes sailed in ships all over Europe and he even hiked all the way to Asia to preach the word of God, and in those trips only God knows how many times the ship he was in, capsized and he nearly lost his life, and at one point, got bitten by snake for the word of God.

Why wouldn't these generation of Pastors, who claim they serve God emulate Jesus Christ and the Apostle Paul?  Do what they did, if you're really following Christ.

I once heard one of the Pastor's of this Church in Ireland claiming they need the Aeroplanes to be able to visit their million branches and attend to the needs of their congregations all over the world and I say, really??

But, who say that doing the work of God is easy, and that to be a true Christain is simple.  No wonder, there is so much emphasis on tithing in this Church I heard, and that's enough to put one off, getting to know God!  To win souls is what Jesus said, and not to bleed people through tithing! Yes tithing for the work of God is good, but not a priority - winning souls for Jesus Christ, is.

The work of God requires sacrifices and suffering, ok! Because, Ministry work these days is full of Milikie, that's why there are so many Pastors/Churches every where you go. 

If there is much suffering as Jesus days were, no one would dare call themselves a Pastor, unless if you are one of Jesus disciples.  Our God has a sense of humour you know, he's not like you! )

No, it is not easy - you have to deprive yourself alot of worldly pleasure and material wealth just like, Jesus Christ and Paul did to serve God in ernest - for you can not serve God and Mammon (the Bible told, us!)!

A Church owns an Aeroplane and I ask, who maintains it? I mean, who is paying for the fuel to keep it in air and the airport taxes?  Who is paying the Pilots and Engineers that maintains it? I don't think that members of this Church really ask questions at all, they just sat there and get brain washed with scripture verses, their leaders practices fail short of, or do not align with.

Some would say, Paul used the technology available to him at their time and we are using the one available to us in our time, really?  Well, I have news for you!

You see, the technology available to Jesus Christ and Paul in their times, were their feet and wooden ships and we still have them even till today in fact, much efficient ones than Paul would ever dream of. 

Therefore, you lot should use them and stop bleeding and putting your naive church members under financial stress, in search of money to maintain your lifestyles, in the name of doing God's work - for our God is a God that searches and judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart (Hebrew Chpt. 4 v. 12).

How many Nigerians have you changed with your firebrand anointing that is direct from heaven?. I see bad belle in action here. Many times, all these struggling evangelists/pastors envy prosperous ones and try to associate them with all sorts of evil. Daddy Adeboye will continue to win souls for Christ and I pray that you shall be won in due course. If you need a job as a pastor, why not approach RCCG for employment instead of castigating them out of envy?.
