To me, Christmas is NOTHING MORE than an over-glorified “holiday” that, according to Old Christmas Songs, is SUPPOSEDLY the “Most Wonderful Time of The Year“, when in reality, it's not and is just a bunch of fabricated lies, so that companies can fatten their wallets, with money. Money that WE give them.

Christmas brings out THE ABSOLUTE WORST in people. Happiness? Ha! Greed is what Christmas is REALLY about: Wasting your hard-earned money on stuff that you don't really need and are better off without. Plus, who's to say that after Christmas is over, the stuff that you either bought or received, ends up not being used, gets damaged, broken, thrown away OR you end up returning it? These are ALL possibilities, which you know.

Another bad thing about Christmas, is: Decorations. So much effort and time gets put into it, yet when the holidays are over and we celebrate the new year, the novelty of those decorations soon wears off and is taken down. Plus, whatever holiday stuff happened, its novelty soon wears off, too. Basically, it was all for nothing.

Also, do you want to know what REALLY irks me, about Christmas? Donations. Preparation. Cooking. Big Meals. None of which I do, thankfully. Christmas is just, basically, Thanksgiving but in the month of December and with gifts, that you may or may not even want. Plus, the stuff that you “want for Christmas”, you can just buy with your own money, which makes this “holiday“ even more fake, pointless and unrealistic.

That's why I don't celebrate Christmas. Not anymore. Because I outgrew it. If I want stuff, I can always save up the money I need and buy it, when I have the money. So, remind me again as to WHY EXACTLY we still celebrate Christmas? WHY is Christmas still a Federal Holiday? Over 90% of “holidays“, only seem to appeal to kids, anyway. Those kids will ultimately become teenagers and then adults and then, they'll outgrow it, but their kids will love it and the cycle just repeats itself, ALL OVER AGAIN! It's next-level madness.

Imagine this.

keeping all the money you’ve earned.

No having to think about what gifts to buy.

No having to spend hours wrapping gifts. someone gives you gift, you have to find a place to keep it. Even it’s chocolates you still have to find somewhere!

Not having to cook a feast. Yes Christmas dinner is a feast.
