Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the spokesperson of the Northern Elders Forum, has revealed the reason he will support the presidential candidate of the Labour Party(LP), Peter Obi.

Baba-Ahmed, in an interview on Channels Television disclosed that he will support Obi’s presidential ambition if he and his running mate are the best presidential candidates in 2023.

I am neither a political neophyte not a shallow thinker and I have never for one second in my life believe in APC. I see them as ethno-political terrorists and they always prove me right.

There are three contestants in this election - Obi, Atiku and Tinubu. With Atiku and Tinubu, nothing will change. Things will even continue to be worse in terms of corruption, insecurity and mediocrity in governance. Obi is the only good option we have for now.
