Hello everyone
I want to share my experience living in Libya, you can share yours too if you have travelled too...
One Friday morning in 2020 I was preparing for work, my phone rang it was my boss, he just called me to check my mail so I thought it was just a regular mail maybe customer brought quotation, but I opened it behold I was sacked for not washing his car before going home on Thursday, so I lost my job and started going from factory to factory because I am an SSCE holder, one day I just opened my phone and was reading some opera news that's when i saw a video of how Nigerians are dying on their way to Libya... So I took my phone and Google about Libya their currency safety and traveling procedure after a while I said since I have lost my job I will take any risk just to make it in this life as far as I won't Rob or kill anyone... I started check about this country called Libya online and I can see they have a better salary structure but no human right and the country is not peaceful... So I started checking Facebook and nairaland to see if I can get a contact, luckily for me, I got a contact of someone who is in Libya from both nairaland and Facebook, they both have me a very similar guideline so I started preparing for journey.... Note: 'I cannot advise my enemy to travel to Libya"
One Sunday morning i prepared and started my journey, I was connected to woman who will give guideline or let's say tutorial (I pray they arrest her she traffic a lot of French girls for prostitution) .. so I entered the motor we got to where we had to come down and use leg for the rest of the journey the biggest desert in the world, I changed my shoes to timber boot as advised, wore my coverall, sunshade and this Arabic headtie, our journey started with other people (we were 45, 30girls and 15boys, 13 of those girls were from Benin city others are from French countries, all the boys are Anambra lol..) our journey started first week was fine, second week we started seeing life, third week nobody has water even food .... After some miles 3 girls fainted and eventually died, 4th week 4 guys and 1 girl also collapsed (never knew if they survived) that 4th week a motor came 2 Hilux came passing we flagged them down they said each of us should pay 100$ to be transported we bargained and e reach 50$ each .... We started another journey after many hours we get to a place where the woman said we should enter a house like brothel, men with guns approached us and took everything we had but as a smart guy I had my 400$ hidden inside my A#us... Some of the girls were brutally raped and we boys we were beaten and threatened to take us to prison if we cannot cooperate with them....after a while they left us, now we are yet to get to the main Libya we were heading to.. another Motor came and we entered (Dyna diseal) now the driver took us to where the woman told him because he made us to understand that he was sent by that human trafficking woman, when we got there I saw girls and boys, so I had to befriend one the locals he asked me what my profession is I told him I can operate heavy duty machine and also I have experience in panel beating....contd

So I was employed into panel beating they pay me 400k for panel beating and when ever I operate any heavy duty machine, if you add it to the 400k sometimes I see close to 600-800k in a month, my boss like me and gave me a room in his house in, I was doing two jobs, they lack staffs .... I always seat inside the boot of my boss car whenever we are going home because an average Libya man is a racist... They stab or shoot any black thing they see at the slightest provocation, I had to enter the boot whenever we close from the company, I saved at least 10million within 2yrs of my stay in Libya ... The country is economically wise...
7liters of fuel is equivalent to 150naira... 24/7 power supply.. the very bad side of Libya is human right abuse, a boy of 14yrs can be seen carrying AK47, Raped is just a normal story, At least at every end of the road you will find a dead black man stabbed or shoot to death.... Crossing the meditarian sea is a very no go area now.... Deserts are littered with dead boys and girls drying up, human skulls every 20msq ,..,... I thank God I came back successful bought a house in ikotun, got married and settle down with a car that I now use for Uber and happily living testimony.... #Do not try this
