The vast majority of rapes particularly in Nigeria go unreported not because the crime never happened but because society still lags behind in terms of how it handles such cases. You cannot deny, even by this thread, that there are still many out there who blame the victims for such crimes. Those of them begging the OP, for instance, do not see her as the victim that she is in this but instead as someone with a power-card she is looking to play against her assailant, and my guess is many of them are Nigerians.
