The Borno State Chiarman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Prof Shehu Mustapha, has urged Nigerians to avoid those spreading misinformation and campaigns of calumny against the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Prof Mustapha, who said this on Tuesday at the inauguration of the state sub-committee in Maiduguri, noted that campaign should be conveyed in local languages to reach the grassroots. He charged members of the group to ensure that Nigerians are not allowed to be divided by the elite who weaponise religion and ethnicity to campaign. He said the mandate of the group is to educate and inform the voters on the dangers of manipulation. “Don’t allow disinformation, manipulation and misinformation at all. When the political season comes like this, truth is a first casualty. People come with all sorts of misleading information, especially on social media in order to mislead the average voters,” he said. How some of these northern cows supporting Tinubu and APC thinks that everyone is a sheep like them really amaze me. Just imagine the effontery? So because you said it, we all should obliged you? There is no misinformation about Tinubu anywhere. Any day Tinubu comes clean about his origin, age, background, etc is the day sane Nigerians will begin to give him a thought. For now he remains a ghost and deserving of any information passed about him. |

In marketing, it's called protecting public image, a perfect example is the david documentary about Tinubu, I was expecting Tinubu to sue the guy for character assassination & defamation, till now, no lawsuit have been filed against David, definitely what Tinubu is telling us is, the allegations are totally(99%) true.
