It doesn't specifically mention ATMs, so I guess it's back to the status quo.

Not good enough.

No central bank governor should dictate to me how I choose to spend and hold my money.

And FCK you and your CCP tailored social credit eNaira that will have the WEF dictating to me how much I can spend on food and fuel.

The naira redesign was a cash swap meant to recall all the excess money this idiot printed from thin air.

Emefile specifically confirmed that the volume of new notes will be far less than that being recalled.

The man is hell bent in getting his WEF approved eNaira as the dominant currency.

Emefile is not in anyway considering our economy and sovereignty. He has shown from this obviously dictated WEF policy and his shunning of the NASS whose interests he represents as CBN governor.

The DSS better step up to the plate and have him arrested for high treason and sabotage of our economy and currency both of which are critical to our continued sovereignty.

This is high treason !

Shut it! The DSS has no power to arrest him. Do you even know the implications of arresting a sitting CBN Governor? You guys want to completely destroy the Nigerian economy.

The NASS should begin his impeachment trial ASAP.

Let's see which judge will interfere in a legislative affair .

Shut you're damn OSU mouth.

Last I checked the CBN governor does not enjoy immunity .

Last I checked he is also answerable to the laws. If he breaks it , a police sergeant can be sent to arrest him and have him detained at the nearest Divisional Police Station.

Show me where a CBN governor is immune from criminal investigation .

I am waiting.

Every currency below to government not yours.

Another illiterate wades in.

Do you even know what currency is ?

It's an instrument of debt from the govt to you in possession of it.

The govt only has powers to regulate on what is acceptable legal tender and has no right in confiscating cash from you.

If that happens, then the govt has renegaded on the debt it owes you and can be sued in any court of law.

Even devaluation of the naira by the CBN is a breach of the debt agreement entered between you and the govt.

Devaluation and inflation are govt tricks in watering down debt at your expense and you have every right on earth to transfer your wealth to a more stable currency or means of store of wealth without govt interference.

First it was forex , soon it will be gold they will come after since most sensible Nigerians are now opting for gold as a store of wealth.

When this gold clampdown begins know it is a govt orchestrated heist on the peoples wealth.

Stop being ignorant and go and study basic economies and financial tips.

Let me educate your ignorant ass.

The CBN governor can be arrested for even minor offense like reckless driving .

You mistook the process of his removal or sack from office that can only be done by an impeachment process by the NASS as a sign of his invincibility.

Even the President has powers to convene an investigation into the activities of the CBN governor and have him suspended from office for this cause (See GEJ suspension of Sanusi).

You idiots will just be assuming shit from whatever hole you are posting from.

Mean well?

Please educate us more on this noble policy .

A sitting Central Bank governor that has orchestrated the greatest devaluation of the naira and has done all to weaken and destroy local businesses and clampdown on any avenue the citizens chose to escape his poverty inducing policies is whom you now see as rolling out a policy that will benefit you and the economy ?

Pls educate us on how this madness will be of benefit to the larger economy and the average now impoverished Nigerian citizen .

I am waiting.
