My car AC bailed on me.

I got it fixed BUT almost not totally.

The system has not been recharged.

Reason: Properly recharging a Car AC involves the use of a vacuum pump


So I wanted someone who is properly kitted to make sure everything works as it was supposed to.

But the weather is something else.

What's the point of having money if one cannot buy comfort?

The standard practice locally is just to connect a can of compressed air to the vehicle and charge it until by some miraculous means the tech determines that the gas is full. I don't want this if I can help myself!

So, I got a recommendation:

1. recharge with the best local refrigerant available and manage for now. I will be free on the 27th to discharge, vacuum, and refill with the foreign one.

2. Manage without AC till the 27th. NB you mustn't turn on the AC at all.

Please which is a local refrigerant that will not destroy my vehicle's AC system so I can manage in the meantime?
