The policymakers are not ready to save the naira or CBN in particular failed to save the naira, all they need today is to sweep the cash dollar in circulation by doing that they can eliminate the black market rate which will leave them with only the official rate. To get ride off the cash dollar in circulation the CBN only need to make policy and direct banks not to accept cash dollar deposit also they should not give out cash dollar withdrawal after a given window period . After doing that the banks should increase the international transaction limit on naira master card. |
