VFFS packaging machines operate by forming a tube of packaging material from a roll of film. The film is fed through the machine and sealed at the bottom to create the base of the package. The product is then dispensed into the package through a filling hopper or nozzle. Once the product has been dispensed, the top of the package is sealed to enclose the product. The finished package is then cut from the continuous tube of film and ejected from the machine.
