A 400-level student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka has been arrested for allegedly masterminding the abduction of his best friend.

The Anambra State Police Command, in a statement on Tuesday announced the arrest of Ndome Godsent Ogar.

The suspect, who is in the department of medicine, was said to have connived with some people to kidnap his friend, a 300-level student from the department of Medical Laboratory.

The video making the rounds online shows Ndome being interrogated about the criminal activity. He confessed that his gang demanded a N4million ransom, which was paid.
