If it's only when she sleeps, it might be nothing to worry about and is probably involuntary.

I don't know if it's normal or not cuz my boy use to do the same my wife was so worried about it but all those has stop now he's now 9 months.

Way she breaths,this is if her mouth is always open while sleeping and air flow distortion.

They smile too while sleeping so it's part of their infanthood

I will suggest you sleep your baby face down on bed and he will sleep better without experiencing those shocks
