Update: When my father was alive he collected 2m loan from a bank with his landed property and completed the loan and he wanted a bigger loan the bank told him they won't accept landed property for a bigger loan then he brought his 2 buildings for 20 million loan which the landed property wasn't included in the 20milliin loan...My Late father requested for the landed property from the bank they refused to give him the landed property documents.. And now he is dead..
Note: He didn't pay off the 20m loan before he died...We are now finding a way to retrieve the landed property and sell it..
Any guide??

Op it's how These banks behave most time, they make simple things complex.


Try reaching out to the bank ro release the document for the land, because your dad has paid up the loan.


If it gets difficult involve a real lawyer discuss how much he'll receive let him work with you to get the docs


Or you can sell the land without any document( it's a common thing in the east, if thats where you have the land)
