Beaf:

[s]It is fools like you that are defending the likes of Ibori and other criminals, even to this hour[/s]. angry
Ikuforiji already has two known convictions from the US, including a sizeable credit card fraud. The man is a thief and must be strongly condemned, punished and expunged from our political landscape.

I wonder where your mentor and preacher of ACN's holiness, Gbawe is? Or maybe he is even the thieving Ikuforiji.
It is a wonder how people with criminal records are able to get to the top rungs of the political ladder with ease. This man is a known, convicted criminal yet, here we are with him as speaker of Lagos states assembly!

Anyone willing to take up a bet?. . .
Here goes; at the other end of Ikuforiji's thieving straw, we will find Bola Tinubu latched on and sucking for dear life like a phucking leech. This is one case that can bring the roof down on that ugly clan, the only good thing to come out of ACN is Raji fashola.
And when i rap*ed you verbally now you will start running to the moderators crying that am Ebullying, yet you refuse to use your shit brain to differentiate between an Allegation and a Convict?
You are so Stewpped with your brazen Idiocy

I don't know how this guy can corner N500M monthly up to N7,000,000,000 without the consent of top actors in the Lagos state Government. I hope Fashola is not in on this robbery. If he is, he should be tried and jailed too! angry

“This was passed into law and made a first line charge so that the amount can be deducted directly from the state revenue account without any recourse to the executive and has been collecting this huge sum without any corresponding impact on the lives of members or their duties.”

This was done by the law they designed to sidestep and walk around the governor because the governor publicly refused to increase the house budget which led to the impeachment attemts. This has nothing to do with Fashola, his signature is not even on it.

Maybe Fashola himself is the whistle blower sef.

The difference between ACN supporters and PDP supporters is that ACN supporters do not defend criminality, Gbawe, Eko Ile and other ACN supporters have said that if he is found guilty, he should be sent to Kirikiri, can Beaf please say the same thing about Dame Patience?

No sir, you are the one hotly defending a confirmed criminal.  Why? Are convictions allegations to you? Damn!
Ikuforiji has two convictions, including one for credit card fraud; in simple words, he is a confirmed 419.

What is a 419 doing in the Lagos state House of Assembly? To top that, how come he is the speaker and why are you defending him like you're gonna die? shocked
The thief was even gunning to be governor! angry
Everyone knows the way ACN leaders are forced on the people, and indeed Ikuforiji was personally called home from his thieving in Romania by Tinubu.

With all of the above, it becomes really difficult to understand why you are getting into a fever over Ikuforiji. The man is a phucking thief, credit card fraud is 419.

That is why potholes has taken over most parts of Lagos. BRT now specialise in knocKing down people. Agberos na rule every part of Lagos from Somolu to Mushin to Ikorodu. Now the corruption of Olohunwa and co hve been swept under carpet. Now NURTW election is coming and I hope Ibadan will come into play again!

Its rearly a cultural thing, we don't care about personalties, we know how to get red of corrupt and bad officials instead of looking the other way and recycling them. We got rid of bankole and others during the last elections. We have tons of watchdog groups like the one in this article putting the info out there about bad politicians, something other regions are clueless about and generally don't know how to do. This is democracy and the justice system playing out as designed and I'm glad that that the folks out west are using these democratic tools to put pressure on corrupt politicians.

- Adeyemi Ikoforiji concealed his status as an ex-convict in the form he filed with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, during the last election where he won a seat to represent Ikeja constituency 2. He also served two terms as a representative of Epe in Lagos State.

- On April 22, 2001, Adeyemi Ikuforiji was first convicted after he was arrested for drunk driving in Wake County, North Carolina, USA. His record, based on his case number 2001CR040190 shows that his residence then was 2116 Saturn Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.

- He was also arrested over credit card scam totaling $22,731.00 in 2003 while he lived at 9112 Yates Bay, Minneapolis MN55443.

- On October 29, 2010 security escorts attached to Ikuforiji assaulted, injured and dispossessed Nollywood Actress Ufuoma Ejenobor of her Black Berry and other valuavble items for allegedly forcing her way into the Speaker's convoy.

What manner of 'leaders' are we cursed wih in this country?

Something is wrong with the EFCC laws, state governments should not be investigated by the EFCC. That's not federalism. They need to amend the EFCC act.

I Want to Become Lagos Speaker

Having consulted widely with my constituents and by popular demand, I am today declaring my intention to contest for a seat into the Lagos State House of Assembly and then will aspire to become the speaker of the state assembly. My aspiration is premised on the news reaching my desk last Saturday that the assembly’s current speaker, Hon. Ikuforiji Adeyemi, travels to the United States of America every other month. If that is what it will take for me to go on overseas junkets six or more times a year, then I want Ikuforiji’s job.

By his own admission, the embattled speaker, who is being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, says he has been sojourning to the country at least once every two months for the past few years. He made the revelation while dismissing allegations that he was once convicted in the US and had absconded from the country in 2003 and 2005 respectively. If he travels this frequently to the US, only heaven know how often he takes off to the United Kingdom, which is just six hours away and is a second home to several Nigerians.

Well, I believe that Ikuforiji has enjoyed those overseas trips a bit too much, if not, he would have been a lot more circumspect about what he blurts out. But seeing that these sort of things don’t seem to matter in the Nigerian context, I have decided that it is my turn to eat. So Ikuforiji, move over. I too want to enjoy the largesse and perks of the speaker’s office.

Hey, we all seem sentimental talking about this case. Let's face it critically, would it be possible to get that kind of funds with his office without due process? I don't think so. LAHA are law makers mainly, if there are proof of these allegations, they should let us know, then we can start crucifying him. Have we asked ourselves the question of why the EFCC keeps skipping the court dates and we keep hearing of adjournments all the time? Since 2011, they've been playing seeking for adjournment. I do no think this represents the EFCC well. My recommendation is that they should come up with all they have and finish the case and if they've been trying to spoil the man's name, they should just withdraw the case for clarity.
To the house, pls stop calling yourselves names or be abusive, it isn't civil. Let's be objective and analytic. This man had traffic conviction in the US, that is not heavy for me as in the US depending on the state it's hard not to get in the way of traffic laws but for the other conviction, could someone get more facts for us to check so we don't just assume from what someone said.
Thanks house
