Relocating To The UK Or Continue NYSC by Thobie85: 1:36pm On Dec 31, 2022
good afternoon landers

My cousin abroad called this December that he will like to take me to the UK… probably cause of my dads benevolent act towards his mum in the past years

Tho I told him that I will be finishing my service February that I can leave anytime now…and he said no problem that we gonna start d processing January

Buh d reality is that I will be finishing my NYSC july 2023

Just wanna ask if there is no issue if I forfeit this service year and leave or I should just stay back and complete the service?

Thanks and happy new year in advance…

Why lie in the first place

It's a plus if you finish service and same time relocate.

Continue the process while you go on with your service. Whichever comes first you move.

Why the heck do you feel the need to lie? Why not just tell the truth? Are you not sufficiently educated to be aware that lies are like a foundation of sand?

You are relocating no where, and would at best be visiting, after which you'd be returning to wherever it is you came from to continue with the life you left. So how life would be back in Nigeria with your abandoned incomplete NYSC, is worth considering.

And no, he won't change his mind, since "dads benevolent act towards his mum in the past years" is not something he might forget in a hurry.
