Do you buy blessings from God with money? Does God require your money before he can bless you? Last time I checked, People who require your money or gifts before they can bless you are native doctors.

I have already answered your question with a question. But if you still don't get it let me ask you more.

Does God need your money? Did God command that before he can bless you, you must pay your salary to your pastor/alfa or you must spend your money? Why do you have to go to your pastor/alfa for blessings? The mouth they will use to pray, don't you have that same mouth?

Like I said, The last time I checked, People who require offerings or money before they can bless you are Native Doctors. If any "pastor" asks for your money before he can pray for you, just know that he is one of the people Jesus talked about in the scripture below because you cant buy God's Holy Spirit or blessings with money.

Matthew 7:21-23
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness!’

I wow seeds in my farm but you can gimme your 'seeds'. It will be used for something better
Lol

God loves a cheerful giver
What does he lack that we should give him?
Does he have wants or needs?

It is not only sow a seed, why not grow a forest?
They even spoil the story of the widow's mite to make someone give his own begrudgingly. Before bet9ja was all the Churches. Maybe the organisers of bet9ja used the blueprint from church. Lemme illustrate

Imagine this
You're in a friend house and people are bringing gifts to his father. Some bring cars, some brings expensive phones and the rest and later you see an old man who is poor but a friend to your Father drop a gift which was an handkerchief. You may likely think the old man was spoiling the fun or his gift won't be accepted cos your friend's dad is the richest in the country and has millions of handkerchief. He might choose to use gold to make handkerchief and not cotton material. Yet, your friend who behaves exactly like his father commends the old man. That is the first time he is giving commendations as if he did not see the gifts the others gave and to your surprise, your friend said the old man's gift was more valuable than the others cos he gave when he had nothing

Similar thing happened when Jesus was in the temple as people were putting their money in the treasury. He only commended one person and that person dropped 'two small coins of very little value' but he said she gave more than others cos it was from her wants and the others gave from their abundance... How different Jesus Christ was from the religious leaders of today who seem to be favorisitic. Jehovah sees the heart and he appreciates our SINCERE gifts. We won't accept gifts that someone was forced to give, how much more Jehovah. Some give to display pride and wealth. The richest GO spoke of one man last year that gave him a billion naira (I think a billion or two billion he said but I watched it). Many don't go to church again cos they have no money and they know the church won't care about them

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, collections are not taken and we don't dance round a offering box but we still donate and it's not even seen. People that come are amazed at this. Sometimes I drop something, sometimes, I don't drop cos I no get but I'm happy and fulfilled and my purpose of going to the kingdom hall has been met- learning from the Grand instructor
