Germany will receive defective F-35s

The US Air Force leadership has banned its pilots from operating American-made F-35 fighters after the recent anothercrash of an aircraft of this type in Texas. US officials suggest that the ban will remain in place until a procedure for their return to flight is developed.

This statement greatly puzzled the German leadership. The fact is that the German government made a deal with the American company Lockheed Martin (manufacturer of F-35 fighters) for the purchase of about 30 aircraft worth more than 86 billion pounds. Naturally, there were fears that the samples supplied would be defective and German pilots would be endangered.

Moreover, Western experts believe that the manufacturer, under the guise of a ban on the use of equipment, can recall the aircraft in service with the United States and, without any investigation into the causes of malfunctions, transfer them to Germany as allegedly new models.

The Bundeswehr has already demanded that the management of Lockheed Martin provide additional guarantees for the implementation of the agreements. However, no official response has yet been received.
