Presidency Not Retirement Home, Says Obi by NwaNimo1(m): 11:32pm On Jan 05, 2023
The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, said, on Thursday, that the country’s topmost office was not a retirement home to be occupied by people in their 70s and above, but a place meant for young and agile people with a passion for the country’s development. grin

Obi, who said that he was the only young person among candidates of the four leading political parties in the February 25 election, said it was the turn of the Nigerian youth to take back the country by occupying the exalted office and as well others.

The LP flagbearer, who spoke in Ado Ekiti during his campaign in Ekiti State, harped on “character, competence, commitment and compulsion as necessary in the election”, saying, “this election must be based on competence.

“We want people who are competent, who understand the problem of our country. Our people are dying of poverty, we want people that will fight poverty. The LP government is going to fight poverty. I am committed to building a new Nigeria. Let nobody tell you it is his turn, I am not contesting based on turn, I am contesting as a Nigerian who is the most qualified.”

While canvassing Ekiti people’s vote for him to emerge as the next president, he told the youth, “It is not a retirement home. We want you to take power, our government will be full of young people, youth and women, we want to give power back to you.

Do you know more than America? Biden got elected 76.
It should rather be presidency is not for half-baked education qualifications like yours. Your wasc was too poor and suspicious, your philosophy was equally poor.

Retirement age in Nigeria is 65, at 62 you equally has no business in Aso Rock cos you will be over 65 in office if elected, though you will NEVER be elected.

Anyway your lamentation shows you have nothing inteligent to talk about, if not that your zombidient supporters are bound to be zombies for ever, how can they support a candidate that said he had no manifesto and even questioned "who manifestos ever helped?" and after being lambasted hurriedly went to put up a guguru and ground nut manifesto and his mumu supporters still hail him to be an intelligent candidate.

Unna go learn lesson by fire by force.

So you still use this same stale narrative even after it has been proven that soludo was lying?
Soludo during a guber debate quoted NBS stats that poverty during Peter Obi's reign as Governor was the lowest but the same deluded fellow out of ignorance, now declared that poverty increased during the time of Obi with no stats to back his claim and based on the level of your intelligence, you took the one that had no form of evidence to show!
Weldone sir grin
I hope you will quote soludo if he later claims tinubu failed as Governor grin

People are hungry and facing hardship

Lagos to Delta is 25k

A litre of petrol is #350 in my area.

Where do we start, unemployment, inflation, killings, kidnapping, corruption, inflation

APC is a failed party

Time for the youths to take back the country

If it's 25k, board it.

If it's sold #350 in your area, buy. Stop disturbing us with your people's greediness.

We're voting Tinubu

It's surely not for an incompetent nor person without visible track records, because Buhari's kind of mistake should be avoided .. A sitting governor from the state he has ruled confirmed to the world that he may be good at making sweet promises but but has nothing tangible to offer.. Even the people of USA preferred 80year old Joe Biden to Donald Trump that's so good in making empty promises with nothing to show for it..
How would you rule a state for good eight years and no commissioner is proud of your achievement or come to showcase the reasons you deserve a better chance at the higher political level?
Obi is a scam joor

For those who doubt Obi has nothing to offer than Buhari, look at this again:
